  1. Have Saudia not been ruled out before (as shirt sponsor)? Think thats more about the Saudia Cup thing, and generally just being a club partner.
  2. Could be one to watch, or could be twitter nonsense.
  3. Asked AI to tweak that shirt above..
  4. For what its worth, Easy Ryder reckons the club have refuted the 'terms agreed' story.
  5. It'll probably include the families as usual too, so the presence of young kids will probably deter any of the more 'vociferous' supporters from having a go at him.
  6. To be honest, I vaguely remember the original 'spygate' involving Leeds, but didn't realise there was now an actual EFL rule that you cant observe an opponents training within 72hrs of a match. I agree Southampton shouldn't lose their playoff place because of it. But it's one of them, the rule appears to have been broken, but Burra just using it as a potential route to the final, when they were still unable to beat Southampton over 2 legs + ET tells it all, really.
  7. Bayern Munich after some Big Willy? https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-united/sheffield-uniteds-will-osula-financial-interest-clarified-as-bayern-munich-join-newcastle-united-transfer-race-8541014
  8. Sir Davey of the Gate doesn't care. I've seen snides of the supposed navy blue with brick pattern on sale on FB marketplace, so they've clearly made those already based on rumours. EDIT: Exhibit A, ma' lud
  9. Cheating bastard Madders Straight out of the Anthony Gordon book of dramatic dives
  10. FFS, Longy off the bar
  11. Lets hope it backfires, and Leeds nick a winner
  12. Howay dorty Leeds. Leeds win this, I'll take a West Ham win on sunday.
  13. Possibly, and I did say that. It's just my feeling, based on nothing more than conjecture.
  14. I have a feeling, that he may walk once the season has finished, and the decision may already have been taken. Before the 'summit' with PIF, loads of people were commenting that he looked jaded & tired in pressers and post-match. Then the summit meeting at Matfen, and the presser following that, he seemed a lot brighter compared to previous weeks, almost like a weight had been lifted. Now, this could be due to reassurances from PIF, but it could also be that he has decided he's taken the club/team as far as he can, and has decided to walk away. However, I think EH wouldn't want it to be announced until the season finished, as he wouldn't want the focus of the final matches and specifically the final home match to be on him. We haven't had an official word of the clubs support and him staying on, just that report from Ornstein. I may be wrong, but its just a feeling I have.

Give young players a chance, you say?
  16. Howes comments re: Hall playing RB instead if Trippier.... "Obviously, Kieran's future has been revealed, so I'm focusing on the players that I know are going to be here next year."
  17. Agree, but why even have him on the bench if he doesn't really want to play, and both parties don't want to risk him getting injured, for different reasons? Give his place on the bench to a youth player who hopefully grab the chance with both hands (or feet). But Eddie was challenged on the whole '100% commitment only' comment, so cant be seen to back down on it.
  18. On the contrary, I think this kid would do whatever he can to ensure he doesn't get an injury that jeopardises his WC place. Was the weekend after Ekitikes injury (I believe) that he suddenly got that 'hip flexor' injury. Must have shaken him up that.
  19. Maybe, but also makes a mockery of EH saying he'll only pick players who are 100% committed (not that he aimed that at Gordon, of course). And then some on here took offence to a journalist asking if Eddie was "a man of his word".
  20. So once again, Gordon on the bench, doesn't get a minute. But Eddie doesn't select players who aren't 100% committed.
