  1. I guess any punishment, if he's found guilty will depend on the extent and number of bets, and how long its been going on for. Trippier - seemingly one text to his mates to 'lump on' his tranfser to Athletico = fine + 10 week worldwide ban (implemented by The FA). Toney - over 200 charges of bets made = fine + 8 month worldwide ban. I would think the rules on betting would be the same across all FIFA leagues and competitions. So even if this was all done during his time in Italy and prior to joining us, then any ban would still be worldwide.
  2. Ah man, was hoping it was just a time embargo, with the goal highlights with the Radio Newcastle commentary coming out yestereday. but no match cam is a bit disappoitning. Bloody UEFA!

The power on the header from BDB, man.
  5. Aye, this was the sight that greeted me as I came through arrivals last night... Had thought about wearing my NUFC shirt to travel back, but kinda glad I didn't, as not sure how much help that one Police Officer would have been had it kicked off!
  6. Watched the highlights and some post match stuff on YT, and won't lie, had tears in the eyes at the end, especially after Schars worldie. Just, unreal, and to quote Big Dan, speechless.
  7. Quite surreal all these French people eating cheese savoury stotties, and sausage rolls😂😂
  8. Just landed, couldn't believe the score... Came through security, airport terminal is full of PSG supporters with faces like smacked arses... All in Greggs. 🤣
  9. Gonna miss this tonight. Fly back from Ibiza 9pm, so basically kick off time. Hopefully a nice surprise when I land.
  10. So this Fender/Adidas mural, is that all it is, or is it somehow linked to the photo of him and Bruno, where they were both dripping in the 3 stripes, and seemed like it might be for some sort of advert / campaign?

The Indian war cry also at around 32mins of the footage.
  12. Was just saying I didn't think I'd seen us score 8 before, but then remembered Sir Bobbys first home match against the Sheffield neighbours, with Shearer scoring 5.
  13. Yeah same as the neat white box on the shirts in the late 80's and 90's, no need for a full back panel like Tuesday night... Of course, no player names across the shoulders in those days, and also the shirts you bought wouldn't have the blank panel, they were only for the players.
  14. Its strange, because of the 4 big UK clubs they supply kit for, only Ourselves and Rangers appear to have some supply issues, with a number of shirts also unavailable on Rangers store. Crucially, Castore also run both stores/websites. Aston Villa and Wolves both appear to have the full compliment of shirts available, however their stores/websites are run by different parties (Fanatics and Jonas Sports respectively). Not sure hwat Rangers relationship and fan opinion is of castore, but just seems iffy that the two clubs they run the stores for, they can't supply sufficiently. Suspect they (Castore) have perhaps spat the dummy with NUFC too, with the kit maker change.
  15. Does the club shop even have the keeper tops for sale yet? Only shorts available online. Wouldn't surprise me if Crapstore haven't spat the dummy, and the supply issues are part of that. It seems the Adidas deal was done sometime last season, so the talks with Crapstore clearly broke down then for them to push on with the Adidas deal.
  16. For the Adidas (Entertainers) snides I got from DHGate, the largest size they seem to do is 2XL, and they were both a bit 'snug' on me, and fitted more like a UK 'L' at best. My son has them both now, as he's a uk M or L, and they both fit him fine However, the last Castore ones i got, they had up to '4XL', so went for those and they fit like a UK 2XL. Currently trying to shift some timber though, and I'd love to get one of the 1999-2000 shirts, the last one with the Brown Ale sponsor, but would be taking a chance on the 2XL DHgate sizing again.
  17. Yeah, I noticed a black Adidas top I didn't recognise, and wasn't the black and grey one from 2003ish. I thought it may have been a keeper top, but seemed to have short sleeves, when back then short sleeved keeper tops were a rarity. Also thought maybe it was a training shirt?
  18. Yeah, I think theres been mention of heritage and stuff between the brands, and everyone should know how loved the 'Entertainers' kits were/are, so I also think the first new Adidas kits will play safe, and be a modern take on them. Subsequent seasons, they may start to play a bit, or at least with away kits.
  19. Yeah probably, but I guess what I meant was that Castore had issues last season too, with quality and supply, so yeah, the Adidas talks were already happeneing. But then Castore still haven't done themselves any favours this summer, which has been worse again.
  20. If its true the club only get a small percentage anyway, then as I said yesterday, they'll be getting even less anyway as Crapstore can't even supply the current demand. Seems to have been particularly bad this summer, which has probably been why the club has pushed to break the deal. Also, theres the quality issues which has led to loads of people heading to the likes of DHGate for cheaper shirts, or even just because DHGate can actually supply! No doubt Crapstore will still try and push out a load of limited edition stuff and multiple training/travel wear ranges, but yeah, be interested to see how they sell, if they do.
