  1. Willock again!!!! And he'll still be benched next match by Bruce.
  2. Much like the statement from Sky Sports last night. Whilst they both says they have not been involved in any Super League discussions (so far), neither of them go on to condemn it, and/or rule out any future discussions. Incidentally, have BeinSport (and/or their hairy handed sexist pundit) distanced themselves yet??
  3. PL should just approve our takeover. No one will notice, and it can slip in quietly whilst everyone is in uproar at this.
  4. This headline on the DM website though.... 'Killer' Saudi Prince and 'Newcastle United' in same sentence. You know, I think it could be on! #Cans
  5. My take, I don't think we're getting relegated on purpose (despite Bacon boys best efforts). However, I think Ashley has washed his hands of it all, and perhaps there is agreement that the consortium will still proceed with the Takeover, should we be relegated. Hence, the lack of action - relegation may seemingly not end the takeover (subject to arbitration). On the arbitration, would we even hear anything if/when it starts? After all, we only found out about the loss of having the panel member removed, once the decision was made. No-one knew we'd even done that. So could arbitration have started, and again, we won't find out until a verdict is made? That could be another reason for Ashley's lack of action. If it has started, and a result could be within weeks, then it may soon not be his problem anymore. I still think a takeover depends more on the arbitration result. Sure I've read that the EFL tests are pretty much as stringent as the EPL tests, so not sure relegation makes a takeover any easier? Also, what happens if we are taken over and then get promoted next summer? Do we not just hit the same EPL roadblock again? Are we just going to try and make them stop us being promoted?
  6. Not by name, and this is the only reference to 'the coaches'... "The situation with the coaches around Bruce, that is very strange. That wasn't his choice is what we are told - although he says something different, and that is where we are the minute."
  7. Filled the survey in (FWIW) and it allowed me to submit it without an email address.
  8. His fatha will be texting him from the MOTD studio telling him to delete the tweet. It's all well and good Shearer typing 'ABYSMAL' on twitter, but you just know if he's on MOTD he'll blame the players, and not call out Bruce. Yes, the players need to take some responsibility ofr a performance like that, but they have given upo because of the clueless manager/head coach. At least all the local journo's are now (finally) calling for him to walk/be sacked.
  9. Oh well, Fulhams loss tonight means this is another match that we don't have to win now. Bruce can set us up nice and negative to try and secure that much needed point.
  10. I said after Edwards' last article, he couldn't write a more pro-Bruce piece if he tried..... but there it is. Its also a propaganda piece for the club, saying Ashley is also annoyed at the mole, and if anything thats more likely to make Ashley stick with Bacon chops! As for Bruce... '6 or 7 teams looking owver their showlders now'... Arsenal must be shitting themselves, eh??!!!
  11. Ah man, thats genius. The Longstaffs, and then Shelvey
  12. Aye, the doctors and sports science guys pencilled it in weeks ago.
  13. Whey according to the transcript, Bruce doesn't even see sundays match as 'Must Win'.
  14. Edwards still trying to throw shade on this, failing to see any (potential) positives...
  15. Haha 'Derek The Toon Army Posty' writing into Talksport to give Bruce and the players his full backing.
  16. Aye, passing the blame again. Lack of training if down to the 'sports scientists' now. This bloke doesn't take ANY responsibility, does he???!!
  17. Sounds like Luke Edwards is in Bruceys doghouse now, for the Darlow 'exclusive'. Poor Luke.
  18. WOW, just WOW... that article by Edwards above. He probably couldn't write a more pro-bruce piece if he tried! Basically saying most of what Hope wrote / alledges is supposedly wrong and/or been denied by the players. Aye, right-o!!!
  19. Cheers, Yeah just missed that article being posted.
  20. Wonder if someone at the club has had a word with The Chronic. The only mention of this is in their live blog thing, where they reference Hope's article. But a quick look at the website (I know) and the recent stories are all about 'how Injuries have crippled the squad' and 'Time for players to stand up and be counted'. They seem to be shifting the onus towards Injuries and the players, and not (directly) at Bruce.
  21. Well he couldn't push him with his hands. He had a bacon sandwich in each one!
  22. Could even be a positive then? A stake in inter with Newcastle to follow What happens when we play Inter in the Champions League final, though?
  23. He wouldn't even have got sacked had it not been for Benítez making contact IIRC. Probably right. Pardew was pretty well teflon coated as well, and it was only because Palace came in for him, that he went. McClaren also, as above, probably wouldn't have been sacked without the approach from Benitez' people. Ashley has only ever sacked/pushed out those that push against him - Keegan, Shearer (probably saw what he wanted in terms of transfers/players in, hence not keeping him on), Hughton, and Benitez. Don't knock on his door too often, or make your mouth go in the press about wanting better, and you've got a job for life under MA!
