You're worrying. Get some new patter as full rails mean bog all as it's perfectly feasible a restock might have gone on. Worrying?...absolute helmet
-
Absolutely, but it's total bait now. On what planet is the club shop actually having stock to sell "worrying"? Absolute knobhead whichever poster it was
-
This "worrying" thing is now lifting crack. Propose a ban for anyone who puts it on trying to get a bite

And has very publicly shown himself to be a whiny little bitch whenever he's had to pay more than a penny that he thinks someone is worth. Penny pinching everywhere on staff that cost coppers compared to first team. As before...he's not a billionaire by spending money
-
Well when their asking for 70, bidding 50 is a carbon copy of Ashley making a bid and saying 'we tried'. Welcome to the world of British billionaires...its going to be a disappointing ride
-
No fear here...just amusing to watch Man U resorting to Ashley tactics. Schadenfreude more than anything. British billionaires are the tightest ducks going. As its been said....you don't get rich by writing a lot of cheques

Your own football ability - how good are/were you?
gjohnson replied to Big Geordie's topic in Football
My boys first session back in training for a year and he can do things at 9 that I couldn't even when playing every week. Pity he's that small he'll not get noticed by anyone of note. Small, fast, tricky and so one footed it's untrue. Like watching a mini Almiron. On my ability...well that pretty much sucked balls. When I could actually run I was a pain in the arse defensive midfield terrier prone to a card or two. After destroying my knee in a totally not alcohol related incidence I turned in to a lazy git who would pick a pass rather than moving. On the plus side it meant I could take a wicked free kick based on accuracy instead of power -
Well as long as he can nutmeg a Boro defender or two after a glass of merlot then I'm in
-
A few simple changes could solve all this bs in one go. Pay up front and in full. If you can't then there's no transfer. Owners are allowed to top up at will, but only to the maximum declared value of prize money and tv income. Anything beyond this would count as 'illegal' or undeclared income and therefore not allowed to be spent on any football related activity. Pretty much ends the sport being ran and dictated by accountants and puts the balance back on actually what is sitting in the bank and how well you've done on the field
-
He's going to have to win all the remaining matches convincingly and dominantly to not get any criticism regardless of whether we actually win or not. Continue to scrape through and he'll be labelled lucky at best despite being statistically the best for 50 years
-
Maybe not the most delicate of descriptions for the snowflakes, but isn't inaccurate
-
Well there is only so much you can do to a shirt that has to be black and white stripes without alienating the target audience....remember how much that spiked one was relentlessly mocked as it was a bit different?
-
This entire tournament England have played like a virgin who accidentally got invited to a sex party and hasn't got a clue how to join in Gordon would be the booze and viagra to get them going
-
History is irrelevant to them. I'd wager most of their current designers weren't even alive when those shirts made their debut. More likely they've looked at the best sellers in the history and gone with it. The white and green thing is most likely a stipulation that at least one of our kits has to be green and or white to fit in with Saudi branding. Seem to recall the original one they've copied was only used once and wasn't hugely popular. Should have aimed for the green McEwan style

Absolutely hated that one at the time and thought it looked c***. but would look awesome now, especially if they stuck sela off centre and rotated it a bit. Was definitely ahead of its time. Loved the denim one too...pity it could shave your nipples off in 5 minutes

I'm no Pickford fan, but he is the best around at the moment. To the poster that said the late 90s 2000s had the best goalkeepers must have missed a few years where the best we could field was David James or Ian Walker. Hart was decent for a bit but he never had the authority Seaman had, who I still think of as the best keeper we've had from 96 onwards. However there is a common trend with English keepers...when they're on the way down they drop quickly, but tend to keep their place for a year or two longer than they should purely due to reputation
-
It's been no different to anything I've been watching. They are playing like a team that is 3-0 up, know the game is won and are just waiting till it's finished. Either they are deliberately being instructed not move and actually run or they've forgotten how to do it. I've seen chess pieces move more actively
-
Hamann annoyed me at the time, but we doubled our money on a player everyone at Bayern thought we overpaid for
-
I am...he was a Shearer torn ankle away from being a star for us. Obviously nowhere near ready to lead like we asked him to do, but a season alongside Shearer and we could have had a world beater, rather than a broken shattered kid who could hardly kick a ball straight for us
-
Just another that came to us, did ok and moved on for whatever reason. Every club will have a story of a great who started with them and went on to better things. Probably us more than most...Tomasson still pisses me off to this day
-
Me now looking back and realising I've been a total div
-
If it's any condolence, the Saudi copter that goes to Sabic pretty regularly does have very similar markings and pattern to the air ambulance
-
Same here. Bad day, took the bait 😒

Is it not possible to make a real statement on here without some smart **** taking the piss?

Might be hard to believe that not every private plane in and out of Newcastle airport is a footballer or agent.
