So much wrong with this statement in terms of mental conditions but not going in to that Consider it next time you tuck into a steak, or goto McDonalds etc...if it's not enough to make you leave it or walk out then it's not enough of an issue to be a problem. No. We need a main striker at least as good as Wilson, and not one of these half defined winger/striker types who are always rated, but never actually seem to score that many.

There is a clear and obvious bias towards the 'big' clubs amongst all commentary unless the commentator has openly declared they prefer a club. (eg when Lawrenson used to commentate on Liverpool, and Sourness for anyone who played against us after his sacking) Forest are seen (rightly so) as bigger than Huddersfield, so will get the media bias in that match. Watch them in a cup-tie against Man City or Liverpool, and they won't get a mention....if they score or win it will because of LFC/MCFC failure not how good they may have been. We saw it ourselves this season when we destroyed Arsenal....the narrative wasn't that we were the better team on the day, but how they were off and were poor/lacking the Arsenal spirit etc etc

Chris Wood did a job...yes he didn't score enough, but he changed the dynamic and style of the team to make it more effective. A piece in the puzzle so to speak. He knows, Eddie knows, and we know he won't be the long term solution and will almost certainly be replaced within a year. However he worked his behind off, and we got results with him in the team. Yes we overpaid for what he's directly delivered, but we also looked so more balanced and dangerous with him....at the same time effectively wrapping up one of the relegation spots by taking one of Burnleys better players

He's taken a club that was dead and buried by almost everyone to touching distance of the top half in half a season. Yes January investment helped, but regardless that's a massive achievement and should have showed up Bacon chops for the managerial fraud that he is. Hope he can continue the form without relegation pressure, and there's no calls for his head if we don't win any of the first few games next season

No one would boycott apart from a few utter die-hards. Yes there'd be a lot of noise, complaints, hand wringing and maybe some half hearted protests but if we were sitting in or around the CL places it would would very quickly be forgiven (if not forgotten). If they did try to change it (which they won't anyway) it'll be a gradual thing like how Barcelona slowly gave in to their 'no shirt sponsor' thing where they allowed Unicef to have it for free for a few years, then took the money from Rakuten/Spotify. Probably introduce more colour season by season, some trim here, a collar there, narrowing the black stripes till there almost gone....etc etc.

There's no way an alleged budget has even been assigned, yet alone circulated. Anything made available will be just to keep predator agents at bay until we speak to them and stop them from touting their average players for £40-50M as soon as theres any indication we've even looked at them

Thats the medias problem....6 into 4 doesn't go and any of the Big 6 that don't get there are going to be considered failures. Expectations as well....we're just not allowed to have them beyond being safe of relegation. Never mind it'll be 7 into 6/5 in a few seasons ;-)
