Nope. A keeper needs to be brave. If he's worried about getting a scuffed knee then he belongs in a 5 aside team down Dunston Pits not playing in the premier league

When he bought us he was only behind what was the top 4 and possibly Tottenham in terms of actual wealth.

Cabaye was properly good at it...snide enough to rile the opposition, but almost totally unnoticed by the pundits and opposition fans....a subtle scrape of the studs here, and elbow in the ribs there while being smart enough to know when the ref wasn't looking. Enough niggly irritations here and there to wind the other team while avoiding getting a reputation or a massive card collector. It's a subtle dark art.

I'd say a fair few of them have been fully Bruced... Lacelles....just short on an international call up pre-Bruce, and now doesn't look like he knows how to football at all Willock....looked a good player immediately from Arsenal, now looks like a total waste of space Clarke....never brilliant, but always a 7/10 player for Rafa, now a complete liability Ritchie...again never brilliant but with constant direction from Rafa reasonably useful....Now looks like a right winger playing as a left back Hayden....a semi competent defensive midfielder, now spends more time on the ground complaining than trying to play Longstaff 1....touted for a £50m move and cant even get ahead of Shelvey now Longstaff 2....Arguably better than Longstaff 1, but punted up to Aberdeen where he can't even get in their team now. Rafa had this lot (bar Willock) playing as a coherent effective team. 6 months of Bruceball and not one of them currently deserves to be starting a premier league game

Pennies it might be, but £300m pounds is still £300m pounds and is a lot to throw away even if you can afford it. Giving us away would probably see someone on a gallows in Riyadh for incompetent investment. Not happening
-
Exactly, you cant plan against a team that has no plan, obvious direction or collective motivation
-
Not anymore he doesn't....we've been Bruced and got a whole load more he hasn't got a clue about. Could be advantageous

Almost want him to be sacked for his own benefit, and to see what a clusterf**k Rooney would make of it
-
Only if someone else wants to buy. You can't sell if there's no-one willing to take something off your hands.

This....although i phrased it a bit differently

Completely this. There's been reams and reams written about how Saudi is so terrible, but curiously it's never reported how they have been consistently at the top for about 10 years in improving the human rights in their country. There's some league for it somewhere.... Yes they still are quite horrific by our standards and still commit terrible atrocities, but they've made concessions far beyond what they could have done if remaining purely driven by the Quran. Sport washing is one, but that opens them up to having to tolerate alcohol to a degree and letting up on LBGQT which is another step. If bin Salman went on Saudi TV tomorrow and said that everything was changing to Western standards as of now, there'd be a coup de tat by the end of the week. Got to remember a lot of the population are completely engrained and happy as to how their country is ran, so changes have to be subtle and gradual.

Not directly, but there will be many intangible benefits that us non-accountants will ever be able to calculate. No one invests in anything to lose money, so they'll get something back even if it's not cold hard cash....better profile, more interest in their other companies etc

Nothing quite like a made up statistic

He would immediately be the best player in our squad. 25m is nothing these days for a top class international player It's not 2000 anymore where 25m is a big fee...we've just been Ashley conditioned to think anything over 10m is actually a lot to pay for a player

Ever heard of hypothetical situations?

Is her name not actually Karen?

Why is this so difficult for even the simplest to understand? If your're vaccinated, you're less likely to contract the disease (FACT), if you're less likely to contract it(FACT), you're less likely to pass it on (FACT). Benitez puts glasses away

The fact that Palace spent 18m on a player no-one has heard of shows how much we've been battered by MA over the years, or that as a fanbase we are stuck in the early to mid 2000's over how much counts as a lot of money. 6m in 2007 might get a semi-competent defender, 18m at that time gets you one of the better non-elite defenders. I do wonder if there's still a lingering thought/feeling among us that 15 million (Shearer) is what it takes to buy the best, and at the same time why players like Almiron, and Joelinton are such disappointments

Could see Sabic being in or around, given their relatively local ties
-
Isn't most of their sponsorship only paid if they're successful in winning things? Certain i read that the full 750m from Chevrolet was conditional that they won the league and champions league or finished in the top 4 for the duration? Obviously they'll still get a stupid amount, but without a trophy to show in a few years it is probably a fair bit less.
-
Wonder how many would refuse vaccinations if Covid had the same symptoms and fatality rate of Ebola?
-
So essentially the other 13 collectively realised that by stopping our sponsorships they'd be restricting themselves too? Expect a challenge on the fairness of the vote from 5 of the Rich 6 by the end of the day
-
VAR in principle should be a great thing, but the use of it at the moment is absurd, and just looks like it's a tool to favour the result the PL wants.

Smallpox vaccine says hello. Unvaccinated and un-symptomatic at the minute are essentially Typhoid Marys
