Didn't realise Mee was that old....thought he was about24/25 Better than Clark, but don't think he's any better than what we already have.

In peace presumably?
-
Going to say...Bensham is probably one of the least scary places round here.
-
I'm sure we'd welcome him in the Director of Football role where he can overlook the entire rebuild of the club as a project. Lets be fair, it's not going to be long before Everton sack him.
-
Have to disagree with this....couldn't think of a less suitable manager for international football. His success is due to long term drilling of defensive and attacking patterns, which he simply wouldn't have time for in an International team.

Sometimes a manager just clicks with a club. Rafa did with us, and managed to sew a silk purse out of a pigs ear. It's on Charnley and Ashley that he isn't still here. There was a clear footballing plan, and it was working very well. A spell in China to boost his account when everyone barring pretty much us thought he was past it can't be blamed. The Everton move was always going to be a disaster waiting to happen. No money to get the players he wanted, and an aggressive fanbase wanting him sacked before even starting. It looks to me like his appetite for football has gone...even when we were on horrific runs the plan and style was obvious and improved every match. Difference is that Everton were never going to tolerate a bad run even with signs of improvement just because of who he is.

Didn't we just buy him for s**ts and giggles?

Doumbia/Gonzalez/Ferreya/Barreca? Cant really comment if they were actually bad as they never played. Bentaleb was pretty poor

3-4-1-2 Three hard as nails centre backs, two purely wide players, two cm, one defensive one a creator. A withdrawn striker/playmaker and two out and out strikers. Would get torn to shreds in the real world but works without fail in FM

He's so similar to Felliani without the niggly elbows. Midfield suits him so much better
-
Yep...it was awesome when drunk at 3am

or there's nothing to leak? Someone always speaks...no such thing as a secret in football unless things are done within a day

For the uninformed...'Wee Beastie' was an alcopop made from Irn-bru and vodka

I've lived all over Scotland and they seem to dislike English just for being English more than anywhere else and it probably coloured my opinion a bit. Even Aberdeen and Inverness were more tolerant. Away from the Overgate area there's not a decent place around it....there used to be a decentish club (which i don't remember the name of), but it was a proper old school place with sticky carpets, cheap booze and pissed up students....usually on a local brew called 'Wee Beastie'

Dundee is an absolute hole. Lived there for 3 years and never wanted away from anywhere more. It's best single highlight is the 24 hour bakery located in some godforsaken backstreet

With virtually no football staff structure at the club they're on a hiding to nothing.... Appoint someone quick and it doesn't work out, it was a rushed panic decision, take their time and they're too slow.....wasn't Rangick linked as DOF for a fair bit of time? Until we've got a few people in who understand how football works, things are going to seem very slow and there will be painful costly mistakes along the way. May well have to ride out a season or two in the championship till there's a structure experienced enough to know how to operate.

Fair enough...didn't know that.

If integrity is involved most of the leagues owners would be disqualified. The league was always fundamentally opposed to this takeover.....why would any business (club) want one of their competitors to receive a massive financial boost which could potentially damage their results. The PL themselves would probably have welcomed the idea of extra investment and revenue if they weren't so terrified of the rich 6 and their ESL idea
-
why have Norwich got a Lion in there?
-
What's that smell? Woah... Karl Pilkington's flying in... Bulls***
-
It would have. An independent body wouldn't have allowed the 'Rich6' or Bein to have interfered in the way they did.
-
How are Wrexham doing? Would like to see them progress as Reynolds and McElhatton seemed to have a genuine enthusiasm in making them relatively successful.
-
It's not murmurings....their new owner actually has the square root of fook all, unless his Daddy gives it to him.
-
The move to Liverpool destroyed him mentally as a footballer. If he'd stayed I fully believe he wouldn't have had as many injury problems as he did over the rest of his career.

Agree, Ferguson had a knack of getting in the best coaches around at the time and made winning teams with them, and changed them the second they got stale. Amusingly his most successful coaches went on to be absolutely dreadful managers...just shows that some have roles which are suited to them. What's that 'law' that says people are promoted to their level of incompetence? Seems to happen in football a hell of a lot It's the 'Peter Principle'
