  1. Well that's their next 3 point secured then
  2. In a truly fair world this would happen....they would have never got their current sponsorships under the new rules. But they have them now, and will no doubt spend the next 10 years tying the PL up in legal knots so they never actually get found guilty of anything that an insignificant fine won't make go away.
  3. And with no hint of surprise, their last win was??? Guarantee if we were the next game they'd get a win. Always been the way with us....if a team desperately needs a win we rock up and let them tickle our bellies. A team pushing for a title or European place...let's welcome Newcastle
  4. Only if the rich 6 say its fair ;-)
  5. Agree....patience without success runs to about 3 years at most. EH would have been more secure by having this season last year and last season next. He's shown that he can deliver Champions League so anything less will rightly or wrongly be seen as under performing. No doubt he's built a lot of goodwill, but given current state of things, that will run out in a shorter space of time than it took to build. He should stay, but without a serious Champions League push next year its not unrealistic that he should be expecting to be moved on. Really does depend on PIFs plans for us....don't care what anyone claims there's not one of us that knows exactly what they are
  6. Got love an advert for a good Indian restaurant
  7. Nike probably do...got to let all those Man U supporting kids which boots to wear
  8. gjohnson

    Lewis Hall

This alone suggests he is an LB and not a midfielder.
  9. Everton are the new Sunderland....they circle around relegation regularly and never get flushed....if (when) they go down they'll be down for a looooong time
  10. We've got the money to shop in Harrods, but the new rules say we have to visit food banks let as its 'not fair' to have riff raff such as ourselves frequenting such markets
  11. For people who live in the area the centre totally depends on where they land. For visitors anywhere between Cental and Monument is realistically the centre. I think its fair to say St James is on the outskirts of the centre. Close enough to be classed as city centre. The Arena area isn't much different in terms of distance but it's a nightmare to get to by anything other than on foot. The roads are a nightmare and the public transport to it is laughable if going from anywhere other than Gateshead or Central. Totally off the wall idea and would cost an obscene amount, but a stadium built over the river would be immensely cool and unique. Yes there's a billion reasons why it can't happen but would be hugely impressive and completely one of a kind.
  12. This...he was good, not great but obviously didn't want to be here. Fair enough. As far as I know he's not said anything bad about us. Just another that won't be remembered in 10-15 years. Did ok didn't complain and moved on without fanfare
  13. Please please please....only better one would be Bruce. "Knows the club...etc etc"
  14. Obviously not the same but his goal looked so much like an Ameobi one it was beyond belief....like he had an idea, but didn't really know how to do it to the extent that the defenders themselves couldn't work it out, and it ends up in
  15. Even they're right twice a day
  16. Next to Ketsbaia is Carl Serrant
  17. He like shola when he was on a good day. Nobody including himself knows where he's going, but it works
  18. Actually strike that. Bruce would be better. Proper football man, knows the club and how to win trophies with Man U. Would be awesome to see the pundits defending him when he's lost 3-0 at home to any team whatsoever
  19. Would be awesome....couldn't think of a manager less suited to them
  20. Being able to mimic a set up is fine....until it goes wrong and you don't really understand how to fix it. Nickson might by highly rated as a scout but let's be genuinely honest here making him sporting director makes about as much sense as Ashley putting McLaren on the board of directors. And it's not exactly like his scouting has been particularly clever or innovative
  21. Either would be awesome....please please please. Also add to the list Poyet and Di Canio. Basically any reprobate who managed to beat us would delight them
  22. Not a good comparison really. They saw they had a weakness creeping in and addressed it....we attempted it but it went badly wrong with Tonali, and to an extent Barnes, then spending what was left on players for the future who despite looking good can barely get a look in
  23. This draw is remarkably similar to my 'likely draw' post in a different thread. Almost entirely predictable. There's no way they they are not using hot or cold balls....just ensure maximum viewership
  24. How? Suppose they could dig up Peter Reid
  25. That has to be a yes. Probably pushing a title challenge till the last few games. Yes EH is good, but he seems to be a bit slow on picking up obvious errors this season...especially with to Burn who every other team seems to have sussed as the weakest link. Yes we've had injuries, but a large amount of points lost have come down to farcical errors from players who weren't making them last year. When we have brought others in they play like strangers, which suggests a certain amount of favouritism in the squad in that the 'not first 11' don't have a clue how to join in properly with any routines we presumably work on in training
