  1. Maybe if we play all 6 keepers at once in goal we will clean sheet our way to lower midtable
  2. Looks like hes getting off with it....according to Guardian (i know)
  3. Achieve so little? I think i could tolerate winning the league almost every year and generally going far in the Champions league while having pretty much a free pick of the leagues best players every year
  4. Difficult to lead the line from the physio room
  5. People have been saying this since we signed Shearer...the bubble is always going to burst...right until it doesnt and just escalates. It seems to me that the only people making money out of football now are agents and players. Owners clearly arent as every club seems to be running at a loss somehow (except Chelsea obviously who sold a toilet seat to a groundsman for 15m, then got it back for free)

    Yoane Wissa

    Could be a gusher...who knows

    Yoane Wissa

Doesnt wissa already play for spurs? Sounds like such a spurs player?
  8. Well does it suggest, or is it something we've done? If you can do the research then you you must have a vague idea?
  9. And therefore good for the customer....ie you and me
  10. Speaking personally, no i wont watch Liverpool v Man U or City v Arsenal. I dont want to pay to watch teams i dont want to watch. Casual viewers watching these matches are why non "big six" are stuffed
  11. But also exactly what most fans would want...most dont give 2 hoots who is playing if it isnt their team, or their team isnt affected in some way or another.
  12. It would be awesome if Stavely somehow managed to get it
  13. This wont ever be settled...itll be 2035 before either side admits they ****ed up somewhere....meanwhile City win another 7 titles, Chelsea sneak a couple, and Villa take Newcastle to the wire in 2035....just before Israel and Iran propper kick off starting WWIII and the season is suspended. PIF sit there saying "dance my pretties dance". Then we rule the world of post apocalyptic football. I should write novels
  14. This....City probably have won on a wording or technicality, but no-one wants to admit that. If City announce it it will be "yes we won, but only cos we had better lawyers". If PL announce anything its going to sound like "we won, but not really....jesus we wish Man U and Tottenham hadnt been so crap this year"
  15. While its not especially fair, when there are Owners like Parish who are clearly only after the money its difficult to be sympathetic. He is identical to Ashley in many ways....just after the money. At least Ashley put a fall guy in place to deal with the heat
  16. Proven pl scorer, and free. Get him signed up...DCL will need some company on the physio bench
  17. Dalglish had to polish a turd that season. Shame he chose to use a chainsaw to do it. He did gave us Solano though, and Speed...pity Speed didnt really come good till 2 seasons later
  18. Got the stench of Tottenham...or PIF giving Chelsea another 70m assist by shipping to some Saudi team
  19. Would sell my entire family for 10 mins with that...and about 30 seconds with the woman
  20. Would you be remotely surprised if it was uncovered somehow in the future that Infantino was somehow a Chelsea employee through some obscure shell company or offshore investment fund?

    sunderland

Try doing a page search for...Forest fan in peyce.
  22. Sometimes the good ideas are just right there in front of you arent they
  23. Not many, but there hasnt been any that look so obviously wrong...only Targett perhaps, and even he had an element of sense at the time. Taking a crap injured striker from a perenial relegation circular hardly screams ambition from a champions league team. And yes i recall the Ashley era in all its painfull misery...and signing rubbish players just cos they were free didnt exactly work well

    Nick Pope

Cos it would be £30m if he was playing for anyone else lol
  25. Someone mentioned before, he'd be the most underwhelming signing since the summer of Lee Bowyer. Yes indeed. He has a pretty bad injury record, his scoring record isnt much better, and hes already 28. The only good thing is hes "free", and everyone knows free doesnt mean free anymore. Effectively we'd be swapping one permacrock for another...except the new one wouldnt score as much when fit. Does the fact that no-one else(apart from comically Man U) has been seriously linked not ring alarms? Or the fact that a bottom half team didnt even attempt to keep him? Arrogance or not we are currently better than Everton, and if he isnt good enough for them we shouldnt even be looking
