  1. No I'm f**king well not! Thumbs down, and let the tigers off the chains
  2. It was weird. She seemed almost ambivalent when she was asked about getting justice for her ex fiancé, almost to the point where you would think she couldn't have cared less then they get onto the NUFC takeover and it was as if somebody had flicked a switch inside her and her eyes lit up. I had to watch it back again, it seemed so peculiar. Almost as if English was her second language, and she's been shoved on a trash talk show having only been briefed in any real detail about interests which are relevant to UK/Nufc. Surely she must realise she's being used as a pawn in a big political chess game by now.. If that is the case I'd hope for her sake that she's being well rewarded for being so. I'm sure the Qataris will be looking after her. Only while she's useful. At best she'll be dropped like a stone once they're done with her, at worst she should probably try to avoid going in to any embassies

Why do I always imagine him as a mini-me version of Jonjo Shelvey
  4. I would say no, but if you think of your own premier league greatest XI how many would actually be in teams now? For example mine would be Schmiechel Neville Adams Terry Irwin Beckham Keane Vieira Ginola Shearer Henry Couldn't see many of them fitting into Liverpool or Citys line up now. Actually I'm talking balls....thinking about how good they all were, they'd all improve every team in the league...maybe the fullbacks wouldn't help Liverpool that much, but could you imagine how scary City could be with Shearer and Aguero

No disrespect HTT, but the owners have treated everyone at the club with contempt. Just look at that lass who was pushed out on Netflix for trying to tell them some truths and possibly for not making up a crowd figure soon enough so they could claim the highest attendance in the 3rd division. They aren’t about to tell the academy staff if they are about to go into admin, the soonest they will know about it is either when they see it on SSN along with everyone else, or if they are lucky a phone call to say they’ve been sacked just before the announcement on SSN. Correct. All the Academy staff are furloughed and nobody there will be privy to the information anyway. Incorrect, some will know more than the actual owners man I can see them being sold again in some dodgy deal before going into admin! They really won't. Academy staff are furloughed and will know no more than Joe Public. Not everyone is on furlough and a lot of people at the academy work voluntarily and some who don’t, aren’t on some kind of gardening leave, they still do some work and trust me, a number of people at SAFC really do or would know about stuff about to happen, could happen, or is happening just as much and more than the two chancers at the top who right now, are a bit like Ashley and have taken all leave of running things or any real actual involvement and that’s because there’s no money to be siphoned away right now or there presence is needed. Again, I’d wager they are more likelier right now to be sold in some dodgy deal to some other chancers than go into admin which makes no sense to the current two chancers or their real intentions, who as long as they can keep everyone on furlough, they can just about stay in the game and hold onto their hand. As for the club, it’s just about able to stay afloat financially as any real or major debt has either been frozen or differed. If the club had to continue and pay everyone of its staff, without match day income, then they’d be fucked. The club like NUFC has no real debt, only what the owners have spent/taken out and secured against the club and its assets which in time will need paid back and because these two chancers don’t have a pot to piss in, any players worth money they can sell or anyone with a pot to piss in who would want to buy the club and invest in it, that money will come out of the club and if not, then it goes bust. They maybe our rivals but I think it’s a disgrace, wrong and should be illegal that our football clubs and within those they belong to us, end up paying the price for charlatans and chancers being allowed, encouraged and able to just buy any old club with or without money, their own or others, and use a club’s own assets, income and money in the process. It’s all wrong and no club or set of fans deserve their club and our game to be robbed from them by these criminals in suits. For all the negativity of the Saudis, they will invest and will never take a penny out of NUFc because it’s an asset to them, it’s not a business to make some money on the side from, get rich or to buy on finance. I’ve said from day one the owners of Man City are good for the game, good four our clubs, good for the fans, it’s the likes of Ashley who are bad and wrong and need kicked out and the door shut so they never get back in. They are the cancers, parasites and the ones who take take take, hurt hurt hurt. But we are the real mugs because we pay them to buy our clubs, to take our money, to sell our assets, and if not an Ashley, a Don or the Dildo brothers. I've got plenty of dealings with the SAFC Academy as my nephew has been there for 2 years and I usually end up having to take him there as his dad works away and there's no way at all anybody there would know about the club going into Admin before Stewart Donald. Not a chance! Their accountants probably would
  7. Yes Comrade. The filthy capitalists will soon be finished and we'll be free in a fair communal system where want and need are things of the past
  8. I'd have just assumed she's have rocked up unprepared to talk on national TV. ;D
  9. A lot of the games this season at home have been pretty shit. Pretty boring. But clearly, we're hard to beat at home. I think 6 home wins is acceptable, considering we're on 26 points from 17 games. Last season we lost 10 home games, and ended up on 25 points. I think 6 home wins is acceptable for a side who are happy with mediocrity. Every team should be aiming to win most of their home games, and not less than half 6 wins with 0 draws isn't good enough. 6 wins with 8 draws is acceptable. Were you happier last season when we won 8 home games but had less home points than this season? Yes, because there looked to be a coherent plan and no where near as reliant on luck as this season has. The entertainment was also far higher which is kind of the point in the first place. Sitting watching a team that is scared to venture into the opposition half and even at home is no fun. Watching a team that can't keep possession for more than 1 minute at a time is no fun. Watching at team that gets a corner and instead of attacking passes back to their own goal keeper is embarrassing. Watching a team getting schooled by the far and away relegation favourites is nothing to be happy with. Relying on other teams not performing and getting the odd lucky result is not a sustainable method. Luck runs out, and what's that? oh, low and behold a team is sitting in the relegation zone hoping to pull off a result on the last day which might keep them up only for a duff deflection to welcome the cold embrace of the championship
  10. Quite a few people on here would have probably suggested Bruce was just as good a manager as Ole. Time changes a lot of things. Bruce is doing exactly what Ashley wants him to do. Once this takeover happens you'll be free. Tragic thing is Bruce probably is as good as Ole, but when you can blow 50m on a reserve midfielder and have 140m sitting on a bench during a match the players will cover how crap you actually are! Got to be spectacularly bad to have those kind of resources and not achieve. for reference...Souness with us. More money than previous managers by a long way, yet takes the team to a 12 year low

  12. Maybe wouldn't be too bad if any of the results looked like they werent by accident and actually planned. Watching this team, last few games aside has been an absolute drag this season, and certainly not enjoyable in any way. My personal pet hate is when we have a corner and it ends back up with Dubs in two or three passes
  13. Sitting bottom of the pile for goals, shots, shots converted, possession, shots faced, passes in final third, chances, and touches in opposition box is pretty embarrassing mind. Some good (lucky?) results seem to gloss over this.
  14. Ok to summarise fairly...he's not a very good Premier League Manager. Players like him because he's a good 'people person'. He'll happily walk out on a club for a better opportunity regardless of local loyalties. Best thing I can say about him is that he has the self awareness to recognise that he's on the PFM gravy train, and is happy to stay on it as long as the pay goes in at the end of the month. If Gateshead suddenly became wealthy (ish) and offered him 5K more a week I'd fully expect to see him rocking up at the International Stadium claiming it was his 'boyhood club'
  15. Facial expressions and irony are lost in a forum
  16. Ya joking? Why would this possibly seen as a joke? Would you say Kinnear is behind the times? Bruce is only a few years after him and miles away from a truly modern progressive and successful manager
  17. Now that's a whole other branch of quantum determinism where cats in boxes start to be dead and alive at the same time
  18. An unfortunate paradox prevents this....if it happened, then there would be no reason in the future or present to go back in time to prevent it, thus no one would go back in time to prevent it so it wouldn't happen then it would, or wouldn't....ow my head hurts. Stupid time travel with its grandfather and novikov paradoxes For clarity ...lets say HTT goes back and stops Mike Ashley being born, there's no Mike Ashley running Newcastle now, so HTT decides not to go back in time to get rid of Mike Ashley, so he doesn't do it, and then all of a sudden there's a Mike Ashley again. Too much temporal physics for one day

  20. Imagine how much more we could get out of him if we had a recognised striker. Brooks certainly was last night, so much so that he didn't even need a trick to get past him. Simply stopped and went the other direction, while Brooks just stood and watched
  21. I almost wet myself laughing at that ?
  22. An attempt.... Flowers Le saux Henry...don't remember...don't remember Wilcox batty Sherwood ripley shearer Sutton
  23. Good managers make a team that is remembered regardless of who is in it....I'd be quite willing to bet more people remember the 4-3 team we put out than the one Blackburn won the title with
