Happy days that you didn't s**t yourself on the way home? Would be an achievement after 2 of them!

He is what a PFM should be, and not the typical dinosaur hanging on to anything resembling a 'top job'. Presumably Palace will be all over Bruce considering he's done such a wonderful job here according to all in the media.... Surely Palace wouldn't help us out again after Pards?
-
Not remotely surprising.....Companies only tend to do this when there's overwhelming publicly available evidence one way or another that they have or haven't. Can see three options.... 1) They don't know if they've breached the law and are looking to see if they have or not, and what their options are either way 2) They know they have, and are searching for any loop-hole, caveat, excuse to justify it. 3) They know they haven't, and are looking for an actually legitimate reason to justify their position beyond some semantics of who is and isn't a director
-
Would say just the opposite...they've gone out of their way to keep their position hidden. It's obvious that the 'big 6' interfered in some way to prevent competition, and would say he's terrified of the backlash he'll get when everyone sees conclusively that he's runs the league for their benefit. Imagine it was shown that our takeover wasn't allowed because of Liverpool and Tottenham objected....
-
So what? The official line was always that the had no position beyond stalling and hoping things go away. He's now in a position where he has to reveal what actually happened beyond 'no comment'....this might be as strong as ever, but it's still a very weak position to be in

It should be a requirement that any pundit that thinks Cabbage has done a good job be required to watch all of our matches in entirety from this season. Imagine the'd be pretty quiet then!

Exactly...not fair on the fans? Bull. It's not fair on the fans of every other teams that these clubs have tried to eliminate any competition to their financial dominance. Even fans of these clubs have objected to this absurd proposal, so fans thoughts have been a distant last in the consideration. There is/will be no meaningful punishment for this lot....5% of European revenue? What a pisstake. Means nothing to the ones that actually qualify as they generally can live without it for a few seasons. Even less of a punishment for the teams that might not even qualify (cough Arsenal, Tottenham) Should have been a ban from qualification at least, and expulsion from this years competition. They've had a tap on the wrist, and been told 'don't do it again, or else', where or else is 'we might do something a bit harsher'
-
How would they know the difference? They only ever make noise when we show up.

Got to be wind up surely? In what magical land does the cabbage end up being manager of the month? I dont pay much attention to scores anymore as my interest has been pretty much killed, but surely it should of gone to Tuchel for making Chelsea good again, or Pep for actually winning the league?

Lazio top with Casiraghi on the back....made the mistake of wearing it round Rome as a teenager and never been as terrified before or since
-
And break the habit of a 20 year career of never backing away from a fight? He's only leaving if sacked, or gets a better pay offer from somewhere else. Won't be sacked as he's fulfilled his bosses expectations almost to the letter Better offer? Long shot, unless Norwich take a fancy to him, and he wants to go back and repay the club that gave him the opportunity to get in to football. Couldn't see any other Premier League team coming in from him....unless Palace fancy doing us another favour should Woy retire, and let him go back to complete his 'unfinished business'...with the added bonus of giving Simon Jordan a chance to experience 2020's Bruce to compare with earlier

Reckon West Brom could be up there.....they've had some real PFM dross served up over a similar time. Admittedly none of their lot was instantly and universally hated compared to some of the dregs we've unearthed EDIT...just had a look at their list and barring a few exceptions it's like a Who's Who of PFMs

More likely to drag John Toshack back from Azerbaijan

Kinnear was bad, but form wise probably on par with Bruce. If he was at any other club his Alzheimer's moments would have been utterly hilarious. Carver was a terrible manager, but couldn't fault him on ambition...or at least the lip service he paid to it!
-
'Cos he is in sooooo many ways. At least Pardew had a season of good results (yes in-spite rather than because of him) to justify being such a bellend. Plus he was just about smarmy enough to get away with it for the majority of his time. His arrival wasn't popular, but wasn't as universally bad as everyone expected from Bruce, who's totally lived up to form, and added a lot of bad will with most of the drivel that comes out of his mouth. At least Pardews excuses were sometimes mildly amusing....(science bitch innit)

Well you're a c**t ?
-
Is there any other manager in the league that whinges about 'fans expectations' as much as him? Moyes might have earlier in the season, but he's had enough good results to not have to fall back on it any more. Don't even recall Mourinho bitching about Spurs fans as much as our resident gimp does. Arteta might have had the odd one this season perhaps?

Matters not...any half competent IT investigator will be able to retrieve emails, deleted or not. It's virtually impossible to completely delete any form of electronic communication now

Would be a very short thread. "One day, one way or another I'll leave as Newcastle manager." Thread done.

What are their grievances? That they couldn't spend another hundred million every year cos their owners are taking money out? It must be painfull only being able to outspend 90percent of your competition. It must be torture not winning one or two major trophies every year. And they're protesting??? Not sure who makes that worse...them for being entitled arseholes or us for accepting a decade of being told to know our place
