Was pretty excited about Cathro coming in, seemed like an exciting forward-thinking guy on the up. Wonder what he actually does behind the scenes because he just seems to sit in the stands with his coat half over his face looking glum on matchday.

Why not approach Rafa with a short-term pay-per-win sort of deal? Just offer a shitload of cash for every win, or a big bonus if he keeps us up. Not convinced Moyes would keep us up at all, but we're definitely going down with McClaren so you have to try something I suppose

We've spent what, nearly £80m now and somehow the team still looks bang average tbh. There doesn't seem to be any real plan about buying players in positions we really need with a view to building a team. Just spunk £12m on this guy, £12m on that guy, £5m on another guy and hopefully shoo them into some kind of system that works.
