  1. Maybe I'm going senile but I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Haidara given a few games on the left-wing position. I think it's pretty clear that the strongest part of his game is going forward, he's a natural left-footer and he surely couldn't offer any less than Gouffran. Plus he'll track back plenty to keep Pardew happy.
  2. Cabella I'd agree with, not so sure about Riviere. I don't wanna be too critical of the guy already but I think he's shown a real lack of quality that would be evident in any team he played in.
  3. "Ben Arfa is now a season long loan deal with Hull City" Here I was thinking he was a footballer. These guys really need to hire a proofreader. Guy just needs a manager to put an arm around him and give him his confidence back. I am really curious to see where he ends up next year.
  4. Put that article in Google Translate: (the first paragraph)
  5. Holy shit just seen it pop up that the mackems are losing 7-0
  6. Just needs a bit of blu-tac, no bother. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.
  7. We'll probably try loaning him in in January. Offer to pay 10% of his wages or something. 'We tried'
  8. Every day I come on here hoping the thread title has been changed to 'Alan Pardew SACKED' and every day I'm disappointed
  9. Saying that Ashley is a bigger problem as a means to justify not sacking Pardew is nonsense. It's like having Ebola and AIDS at the same time. Ashley is AIDS, Pardew is Ebola. Just because you have AIDS doesn't mean you shouldn't try and get rid of the Ebola. Yes, in the long term AIDS will kill you and will always be there hovering over you in the background. Much like Ashley. But you can still live a relatively good life with AIDS, in the short-term. With Ebola, you can't. Every day is awful and your existence a misery. That's Pardew. Every day he is in charge it makes being a fan suck. Without Ebola (ie. a better manager), we could still enjoy matchdays, not wanting to see the team lose, we could still play a brand of football that isn't turgid and negative. We could enjoy having a manager who isn't smug and arrogant and who doesn't have a list of excuses longer than John Holmes' shaft. One that doesn't blame the fans for bad results, or science, or the Nothing Hill carnival. Ebola will also kill you in the short-term, much like we are in danger of being relegated under Pardew. That at least made sense in my head
  10. I'm convinced hbarecall is Hatem himself, like
  11. I agree with a lot of that and also don't think the result today will affect Ashley's decision on Pardew on iota. I want pardew gone but I also want us to get 3 points quickly as like you say the gap to get out of this will grow over the next month if we don't and may make getting out of it even with a new bloke varnigh impossible. I think it will. That is to say, a win will definitely buy him more time. If we win today then beat Leicester (as we should do), the media will be giving it the old 'Crisis? What crisis?!'. Eugh. A loss doesn't change anything though, I agree. Having said that, I've sort of come past wanting to see us lose to get rid of him because it seems futile. My resistance has been broken.
  12. Another Ignacio Gonzalez maybe?
  13. He's never actually said that has he?
  14. Wish a piano would fall your way 'AP', the way of your head that is
