  1. 35m for him is a great deal, 15m is not. This shouldn’t be difficult to follow.
  2. So we basically got 15m for Anderson what a horrible deal

For sure, I mean we can estimate that this deal will cost about 20m per year in Amortisation and wages and that’s a huge amount. but as you’ve mentioned,I don’t want to make this FFP chat so will leave it at that.

The reports seem to suggest Mitchell has minimal input for this window obviously we can’t be sure if that’s true or not.

Aye it appears palace have named the price; if they’ve done so and being up front with us all the way I salute them. The price is absurd to me and clearly intended to warn off potential buyers, if we are daft enough to pay it we have more money than sense. also, my obligatory I don’t want to hear us cry about FFP whilst shipping in the most expensive market in the world applies.

Rightfully so, we’d want our lot to take the same stance if someone came in for Bruno. The mouthing off in the me is has triggered some but if your a palace fan you provably appreciate the transparency from Parish.
  7. He doesn’t exactly have a lot of suitors given his massive salary.
  8. They sell loads of pure profit academy players like Lewis hall, Tino and Guehi. Our academy needs massive investment and time for us to catch them.

I think if we offer 70m they will take it and laugh, regardless of it they buy 2 centre backs. I’m sure when they first picked this price it was as a joke as they thought nobody will pay it.
  10. Yea decision is imminent.
  11. I mean I understand why they didn’t Charlotte moved the goal posts and it doesn’t feel like much money. but on the other hand; it’s yet another player who is ageing, value decreasing who are holding on to. Meanwhile we are relentless told how much of an issue FFP is despite doing absolutely nothing to change it. It does all feel like a bit of a contradiction.
  12. Yeah I hear you on that, If we can only have one it’s the trade off we have to consider, that being said having to start Murphy or Miggy is a bigger sin in my eyes, your speaking of a situation whereby we have an injury, we are likely to be watching Miggy and Murphy week in week out because those are the two options.
  13. Because the game didn’t feature the guy who will be back in 2 weeks nor the other guy who will be back in the new year. Don’t get me wrong, we need a new centre half but it doesn’t need to be a 70m one in this specific window. The right winger issue is a long term chronic issue which hasn’t been addressed for many years.
  14. This is our choice though, nobody is putting a gun to our head and making us spend 70m ( ) on a centre half.
  15. Disappointing if true mind.
  16. I think this is natural to be fair, we all want the best for the club and that manifests itself in many different ways, as long as people are posting with sincerity the end goal should always be the same. On a more footballing note, I think last season and the start of this season has quite clearly displayed our limitations and a lot of fans wish those to be addressed, that paired with the fact most of the clubs in the league have strengthened makes it even more imperative.
  17. I didn’t see any credible links to this guy.
  18. They send Casemiro out to pasture. Probably hoping for the Saudi bailout.

Can’t wait for the window to close, let’s see where the chips land.
  20. I think we have more a few bullet points than a list at this stage

Pretty sure the price palace set was a fuck off price as they haven’t budged an inch. They are absolutely rinsing us though.
  22. @ponsaeliusi thought your point about tactical convergence was very interesting so wanted to bring it out of the Trafford thread. I don’t usually have time to watch other teams play but caught some of Palace Wham and some Liverpool Brentford and it’s interesting how basically all of these teams want to press high and I think it’s also an area we struggle with, we never look particularly good trying to play out under pressure. This then got me to thinking, has this convergence tactically been the death kneel for the likes of Rafa and Mourinho has top level elite football essentially left these guys behind?
  23. Because we clearly have very specific targets which we are focusing on, the message has been quality over quantity so the signals have been very few first signings for this window.
  24. Another thing which pissed me off yesterday our stupid short corners, why are we doing short fucking corners yet limping it long from free kicks in our own half.
