Oh yeah absolutely not shooting the messenger I appreciate you taking the time to post it. Just think Hope is talking shit.

So it's like we needed to make our offer 3 days earlier? It just sounds like make believe, before we even made our offer his teammate at Brighton told the press he wanted to go to London.

Pardew b tier is vomit inducing.
-
I don't even know what he means by that or how you quantify it?
-
I don't know anything. But from I believe what bonk said and what I was reading his people tend to follow him. It's no unusual in the corporate world for a new leader to arrive and companies to experience significant change at executive level.
-
It is, but this is Silverstone's new boss and he's cut his teeth working on a commercial basis. If what's been said about his true, I wouldn't be surprised to see Silverstone gone and his own person brought in.

From reading the athletic article and listening to the guy it seems like he's the guy to increase our revenue like. Hopefully the cost of that isnt borne solely by the fans.
-
Glad we've finally filled this job. Hopefully he has a direct line and can speed up the decision making process. Was he still working in NY when we hired him?
-
Absolutely, and the proof is In the pudding. Despite Hoijlund being absolutely awful man united will make a psr profit on him when his obligation is fulfilled. It's also why stockpiling players like Chelsea do is such a strong tool strategically speaking. They can buy players using the balance sheet of Strasbourg, sell them to Chelsea for cheap and even flip them in the same window if they choose too. Basically football is fucked, you can't beat this set up in the long term. They may not dominate and win the league but these advantages will make sure they are always around the top despite having an absolutely bang average manager, and having lots of duds.
-
This isn't better than our facilities for the first team right?
-
This window was definitely the cartel strikes back.
-
Got decent money for the back up keeper as well. I can't remember anymore off the top. They are really good sellers.
-
Made good money on Diaz, Nunez, Quansah, Elliot and Doak.
-
Some of these omissions from clubs CL and EL squads are eye opening like. Clubs really have been stock pilling players.
-
That you for listening so I don't have to.

Kev Lawson's take. https://open.substack.com/pub/editkev/p/analysis-how-will-the-addition-of?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=1553245&post_id=172589058&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=21fzf3&token=eyJ1c2VyX2lkIjoxMjMzNTc3MTEsInBvc3RfaWQiOjE3MjU4OTA1OCwiaWF0IjoxNzU2ODg2NjM0LCJleHAiOjE3NTk0Nzg2MzQsImlzcyI6InB1Yi0xNTUzMjQ1Iiwic3ViIjoicG9zdC1yZWFjdGlvbiJ9.lJVEME1HO7r9MJh5G2iN0gN1qGka1umVSHZ99qpoOu4

Would love to see how the PL figure out FMV for this one.

We will recoup some money but that's not the point nor should it be the objective. We will be revenue constrained in comparison to those we are chasing for a long time and this player trading is important to augment our revenue. Given your terminology I'm sure you understand this point.
-
It doesn't take as long as they have taken to fine land is my point. It's something which the board obviously haven't prioritised.
-
It doesn't, everyone knows it doesn't take 3 years to find a bit of grass. It's definitely something which went on the back burner for whatever reason.
-
She said it in the athletic in one of those interviews with Caulkin.
-
Mandy said they were looking for land 3 years ago
-
Yeah I'm sure. As I've maintained very good player but Brentford have had our pants down. Incase you aren't aware they promised him they would sell him for half of what we stumped up. It was needs must I understand why we did the deal.
-
Strikers don't go for 5x defenders. It's all good though the club themselves know they overpaid it was needs must etc. Hopefully we are more organised and less green going into future windows.
