Must be a troll. There is absolutely no need for this crap. Positive excited attitude = a troll.... Each to their own but i can't agree with Pardew's words personally. Aye well just say that rather than coming out with s**** things like 'must be a troll', f***ing sick of it, all you get on here for having a positive approach or having faith in players is 'WUM'...'Troll' ‘Retard’, happens daily on here. Can't a few of us just look forward to the game on Saturday fancying a win without being lynched every time we post something positive? Getting beyond a joke! my apologies mate, I just find it hard to say things like well said when Pardew is spewing out tripe such as we can't control our own transfers and such. Every time he opens his mouth he talks down the club and it's prospect and personally i find it patronising.

  3. The club don't want him to stay. They want to cash in sadly, the numerous mentions of "can't compete with" "powerless" etc are total crap. If the club wanted him to stay the stance would be not for sale at any price.
  4. Reading his drivel makes me so annoyed. Their he goes again with the "we can't compete with Liverpool and spurs" The way he talks you'd think they were Real Madrid and Barcelona.
  5. I wonder if Cabaye's head is still turned? Pardew seems to love that line, If Cabaye isn't in the squad for saturday I'll be convinced he's being kept out by the club to keep him to sell him. After all the Club are doing everything apart from announcing to the world we want to sell.

I think it goes like this, right if Cabaye goes, we move for ........ and ........... We get turned down as our offers are too low, that's it we're done. Ashley going to spend that money in the January sales again when we are hovering around the relegation zone i wonder.

That gameplan meeting they had in France = we sign nobody right?
  8. I can't see us getting anyone in, looks like a big smoke screen to me
  9. So he isn't making any signings then....... Hope he gets struck by lightning or a golf ball. It's booked under Joe Kinnear and can't see many people wanting to impersonate him, you never know though. Unless it's a golf trip to organise some business dealings i.e. signings ?? I don't think I can give JFK the benefit of the doubt sadly.
  10. It's illegal to to that How so? Lyon can sell Gomis for the price of their choosing can't they?

Get your finger out Joe you lazy fuck.
  12. That you Joe ?, you c***. Lol Joe couldn't come up with such a cunning plot in his wildest dreams
  13. This is correct. He paid off the debt which was owed to the banks and transferred it to the holding company and leverages zero interest.
  14. No, He's just refusing to take a loss on what he paid by setting his asking price accordingly.
  15. No Question for you: is anyone currently involved at NUFC in a management/executive or playing capacity doing a satisfactory job? Where does the buck stop for that? No. On the playing side the buck stops with the manager. On the Non playing side it stops with the Owner. And who appoints the manager/is ultimately responsible for every aspect of the club, be it on or off the pitch? I think Fat Mike is the pits. I hope I'm not portraying anything else here.

  17. Is this an art project? No not at all, I'm just gauging this. A lot of people seem to feel Pardew is hard done by, I worded the question in the most objective way i could think of.
  18. I'm not questioning the legality of what he's doing, but from a ethical and moral point of view it's reprehensible. Paying off club debt at a similar rate to that which we'd only be servicing the interest on them if they were from banks is reprehensible? Really? I'd f***ing love for the cash to be splashed on signings. As a supporter, the team we end up with is the most important thing, but as long as we have a decent side at the end of the window, him clearing some of the debt doesn't seem that ethically reprehensible or morally bankrupt in the scheme of things. You're twisting my words sir. If his intention is to pay off the debt and neglect the squad in process I feel that he should inform the fans and not pull the wool over our eyes by having his cronies say we are going to buy 3 strikers etc.
  19. Question for everyone: All factors considered (Injuries, Suspensions, Lack of control over transfer, etc) Is Alan Pardew doing a satisfactory job as Newcastle United Manger?
  20. I'm not questioning the legality of what he's doing, but from a ethical and moral point of view it's reprehensible. Debatable. Firstly the amount that income from gate receipts would drop if he said "I plan on taking debt repayments for the next 10 years" is probably quite small. Also, he paid of debt that was in danger of becoming very damaging to the club. I'm not saying that debt repayments should override any other spending obviously, the balance has to be right. And as i said By Ashley not coming out and saying He's no intentions of spending or stating the budget is this amount is he deceiving the fans. I'd call him an accessory but he's clearly the instigator.

  22. Expect? No certainly not. Fat Mike has succeeded in lowering my expectations so much I don't. I'd love to know where the money does go though. Doesn't take much to find out. £1 iirc. I've seen the accounts but that's not the point I'm making. My question was meant to be more along the lines of why don't we have anything to spend this summer? We'll never know of course, If the club came out and said we aren't buying anyone this summer season ticket sales would plummet. Eh? Surely the accounts will give a fair indication whether we actually had decent wedge to spend this summer when they come out? If not, then they'll show the money must have instead gone to pay off debt, wages, or something else. It doesn't just disappear. "The debt" is is owed to Ashley. The Loans are payable on demand but whilst Ashley owns the club it makes no sense for him to "repay" these loans as in order to do so He'd have to take a loan out against the club which would bear interest. If Ashley intends to repay the debt and neglect the team I'm sure we'd all prefer to be told because by not saying he's basically obtaining money by deception. He's not like. It's his company, he owns it (sole shareholder). He would only be deceiving himself. He's taking money from the fans too.
  23. And if/when we don't It'll be another excuse for our failure. An "excuse" or an explanation? I'm getting tired of people pointing to injuries, lack of squad depth, lack of Premiership experience, etc. as ready made "excuses" for Pardew, as if he enjoys being in this situation where he's asking for certain things, and is not given them time after time, as it will presumably let him off the hook somehow. It won't. I'm pretty sure Pardew, or any manager, would prefer to be given the tools required to do the job, rather than having to rely on inferior players in the "eventuality" of injuries, suspensions, etc. We have played one match, and we're already three squad (arguably first team) players down for the upcoming matches, on top of the players that were sold this summer. Our squad is weak in quantity and quality if our aim is to finish in the top 8. Yes, our manager is poor as well, no doubt about it, but by continuously ignoring his requests for investment in the squad, and for specific attributes like Premiership experience, they are hanging him out to dry imho. [/rant] Good. He's useless anyways. he had a 20 million investment in January and in the second half of the season all it earned us was a point. He had his chance to choose players he wasted 2.5million on Obertan and if given the chance this summer he would have bought James Tomkins (West Ham's back up centre back) Darren Bent (Another poacher who contributes little but offsides wasted chances and some goals (sound like anyone?)). I wouldn't give Pardew a penny to spend personally. But then again I wouldn't have Hired him in the first place.
