Bimps Jenkinson would have been a huge downgrade on Debuchy. He's the sort of fullback I'd expect to see playing for relegation fodder tbh. I know he's nowhere near Debuchy, it's just me having watched him a fair bit think he's not as bad as some say. He's got potential to be quite a good player. It won't be the first or last time i'm wrong about a player tbh He's lacking with the ball at his feet for me especially in the modern game where fullbacks are providing the width. Whereas i think he's ok with the ball, matter of opinions i guess. Sure is mate I just think he's distinctly average that's all.

Disagree. He will be a year older proving himself in a league which he's already proven himself in also he will have 1 year less on his contract. If he wants to play in ligue 1 he will have to take a pay cut and we will have to make a loss. I fully expect pardew to be here next season so he still won't be wanted imo
