  1. Called a numpty be a person who believes we have a viable transfer policy and a manager who is fit for purpose We've a transfer policy that is working so far and an average manager, and you're at least a bit of a numpty. Which transfer policy is that? The one which allows us to buy players when we are in danger of relegation? Or the one which means we sell our best players because we can't match their ambition? Average in which regard? In the special Olympics maybe? I know you aren't calling Pardew a average premier league manager?
  2. Or we are in danger of relegation. I think it's much more likely we get 1 or 2 over the line in the summer and see how it goes until January. Oh right, just like last summer when we only bought in Anita

  4. You sound like Pardew with this one. It's always next time, or later or next transfer window. Same as it's always science, or sovereign states or best player sold. Personally I'm tired of hearing the next time excuse trotted out
  5. Best £5m we could spend is getting shot of the spunkdumper. Couldn't agree more. I wish people would realise that Pardew has us set up to play in a way which doesn't suit the personel he has. Definition of poor management imo
  6. As we have seen no point buying better players If the manager is a clogger
  7. How Webb didn't give that I'll never know.
  8. Same dope who claims science is against us
  9. Because he's damaged goods who's desperate for a job. Also because Ashley will give him money?
  10. I agree with the sentiment but give me Hoddle over pardew any day. As we aren't going anywhere as a club might as well make a fist of playing Decent football It's ridiculously short sighted though. Back to square 1 when we realise that Hoddle isnt actually a good manager. Aye, Pardew will have gone but it's hardly the progression we should want to see. The bloke hasnt finished above 9th in the PL in his entire career man, what makes anyone think he's going to do any better a decade on!? The 'anyone but Pardew' mentality is stupid, because it'll just be 'anyone but the man that replaced Pardew' within a short space of time. It's needs to be the right man. History shows we have never had the right man under Ashley though. And fwiw I think hoddle would do a better job that Pardew.
  11. Remy out wide for Gouffran, De Jong in the middle for me. To get the most out of de Jong as a lone striker I think we will need runners from midfield running beyond him. Knowing pardew and his negative tactics I can't see it happening
  12. Part of me think this. The other part of me thinks Ashley would like a manager who can add value to the players he buys and sell at a profit weather Pardew is doing enough of that for his liking is debatable

  14. No I don't think their is. I think their are people on here who think Hoddle is better than he is because we have a car crash
  15. How long has it been since he held a role at the highest level of the game? As manager did he win any major honours?

With the money we save on his contract we can give Jonas an extension. More graft needed lads

Sell marv as well Alan and leave us with Sammy as our most creative player
  18. Would we be happy to see a season ending injury? OR do we still love him? Personally I still love him. You can't claim to have any sort of footballing ambition and stay with us sadly
  19. We have no creativity but at the same time we lack work rate and grit. Defies belief. Pardew does have a habit of either playing the wrong system or playing the right system in a manner which destabilises the team. I think he has a poor fundamental understanding of tactics to be honest, one of the things which always staggers me is the amount of time/space the opposition gets to play in front of our defence which is in part down to our awful pressing. We rarely press as a team, we often have sporadic instances of pressing from say Tiote which looks good to the average fan but in reality it creates space for the opposition to play in. We either need to have the entire team closing down and getting tight and pushing up or do the opposite and drop off and retain our shape, at present we do neither. All this from a coach who is seemingly defensive minded
  20. Absolutely agree with that, but it's not exactly making me feel good about him picking a quality manager. I'm not feeling confident either however I'd roll the dice and take the risk rather than stick with the waste of space we currently have.
