we won't be like, not with rafa in charge...now if he leaves that's another matter btw i don't think the problem in splashing the cash is ours, if everyone else would just f*** off and let us lowball clubs we'd be fine Rafa is not a miracle worker, as it stands quality wise we have the 3rd worst squad in the league. If the likes of dummet, lascelles, colback, mbemba, mitrovic get anywhere near the first 11 on a regular basis we are f***ed Colback, Mbemba, Mitrovic, yes. Lascelles, maybe but Dummett is fine. We won't lose games because of Paul Dummett. I disagree. He brings nothing to the attack and is one of the poorest first-choice LBs out there in the Premier League. Lucky he's a left back and not a left winger. He's primary duty is to defend and at that he is very decent. Rafa will have us defending first, that's why he's getting a new contract. I'm not expecting Roberto Carlos or Ashley Cole. Someone who doesn't s*** themselves when in possession, can at least offer an overlap and deliver a decent cross. To not have that in the Premier League is shocking and we'll be found out badly. Dummett is a CB. In the modern game, a left back has to be able to do something with the ball at his feet.

Gibbs would be a good signing for the price mentioned.

I'm hoping its not just Dreams, and that we can get some quality players in, or I Don't want to know. Oh Well...if we don't, and Rafa leaves, I suspect many are Never Going Back Again. -

You must have missed the two attention-whore trolls on page 70 If you don't think HBA is our most "gifted" player ever you're an attention-whore troll? Alrighty then. Let's look at what you said, trolly mctroll: absolute f***ing nonsense Ben arfa was not that at all. didn't have anywhere near the talent of Tino,Ginola,Solano,Peter Beardsley, gazza or even Laurent Robert give your head a shake Judging purely on talent then HBA's one of the most gifted we've had. I'm with geordiedean on this one. "Talent" isn't just about technique. I don't get the Ben Arfa obsession. I loved seeing him play, as I've loved many players at this club. Good players come and go. So you're agreeing with the notion that HBA is "not all that" and "doesn't have anywhere near the talent of Tino,Ginola,Solano,Peter Beardsley, gazza or even Laurent Robert" Yep, you're a troll. Or a retard. Look at me, swimming against popular opinion! Look at me offering contrary contentions that are unfounded in the real world! Look at me shunning the near universal love this forum has for a fabulously talented footballer who could do things the likes of Solano, Asprilla, Robert and Ginola could only dream of, or Beardsley and Gascoigne might have done on a good day thirty years ago... Life will be tough if you're getting worked up by things like this. Technically, dribbling-wise etc HBA is top class but his football intelligence and decision making isn't. He can be very frustrating to watch. Amazing when at his best though.

28 years old. Def midfielder. 8 caps for France.

So, you have the exact same profile pic. I don't even see who the player is.

He will be managed by Rafa Benitez rather than Graeme Souness though.

WTF, I'm shocked. That goal v Arsenal. Forever.

Makes no difference whatsoever. Course it does. Unless a deliberate stamp on someones foot isnt a yellow card offence these days That's not the issue though, is it? Ramos obviously wasn't injured and acted like a complete c*** when they were winning comfortably with minutes to go. Yeah that's fair enough. I was referring to the many people saying there was no contact and he made it up out of nothing Well he did May have been contact but it was "nothing".
