How could anyone be?

We knew Hayden was going, Fernandez is good but a back-up and not that bothered about Dubravka. Schar would be a shame, though. Why wouldn't you be bothered about losing Dubravka? It's posts like this that make you worry about the future of our great club and the ability or lack of it of the supporters who are the only people who can do something about Ashley. In case my answer isn't clear enough, it doesn't matter which players stay or leave, which manager joins or doesn't, the place needs destroying until Ashley sells up. If you’re convinced about the connection between the team struggling and Ashley selling up; sure. I for one am not. Not that I currently care much about our ”chances” next season though.

Thought he was going to be great a few years back but yeah, he’s been poor this season.

Rafa did though I think it’s pretty obvious now that the experiment won’t be repeated. Given the Odin situation, I realise that nobody will believe anything now, but i’ve heard a tiny little rumour that the replacement is already sorted, and was weeks ago. Go on then, who might it be?

Not trying to be funny or downplay your suffering or anything but I just find posts like this so odd. This has been going on for 11 years now. If you didn't 100% know this was coming at some stage, you've been very naive. It's like being devastated about your wife's 47th affair having known about the other 46. It's not going to stop anytime soon so I would brace yourself for more heartache or, much more sensibly, just toss it off altogether. I disagree, understand ToonArmy1892 completely. Rafa brought feelings that had been missing for years. Hope, belief, pride, dignity. Those feelings go with him. Many of us started to believe in a bright future for this club, especially with talks of a takeover floating about. A future with Rafa and without Ashley. There ain't no takeover and there never was. Doesn’t look like it, no. I suppose you ”knew” that all along?

Abusing some stooge of a manager won’t achieve anything, in fact it probably would suit Ashley fine. Pardew was a different story since he was a detestable human being.
