Ndiyo, kila Wakenya rafiki yangu. Watu kutoka nchi ambazo ni makahaba wote wauaji. Nafurahi sisi kukubaliana juu ya bwana Hatem ingawa!

I heard that man yesterday... a massive age gap of 2 years between the two

I guess the one good thing about our inevitable relegation is that Michael Owen won't be commentating on any Championship games. I nearly lost the plot when he was like 'just a few years ago, full backs didn't attack.' Well said Michael, I forgot about the likes of Cafu and Lizarazu never venturing past the halfway line.

Yeah I thought I was in some alternate reality where actual footballing skill and productivity actually count for something. Stupid, I know! That's the Illuminati making you think that bro. Don't let them get you down. Pards played a blinder don't you think?

Emitting a perception of hard work to spastic fans > success on the football pitch Come on mate, you should know this. #ForzaGouff

WHAT ABOUT THAT MISTAKE AGAINST MAN U THOUGH *licks lips*

Always winds me up. If anything, their project is longer in the tooth than PSG's! They should be right up there was the cream of the crop in Europe

Oh he's on form tonight...earlier they were talking about Ibra's supposed wage demands of 600k/week...so a 36 year old Michael Owen proclaimed that he 'played in the wrong era.' Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 34.

What the fuck is that absolute filth

Massive goal for City. 2 away goals. Great defending

Why is Michael Owen such a shitcunt

Based on what? We got tanked the last time we played a Championship side. We're absolutely bobbins. We'll maintain a side comfortably one of the best in the Championship and Ashley will pump in a few mil to get back on the PL gravy train. It's a s**** league in terms of quality. It really isn't, that's such a tiresome depiction of that division...you need the right characters to get through a 46 game, ultra-competitive, physical season. As our rabbling bunch have shown, they have the mental toughness of a paranoid schizophrenic. Look at Hull, they probably have the strongest squad in the league (plenty of players with Championship experience) and looked certain bankers for automatic promotion a couple of months ago but are now falling by the wayside. The conditions were great for us back in 2009. We had by far the strongest squad and a calm, collected manager who stabilised the dressing room and got us playing simple, effective football. Not sure we'll have that this time round.

nah, you clearly only wrote 3 paragraphs there.

Spanish football is so bitchy and cheat-ridden

That's Degs/ndegwa, from on here. Lovely lad, bit on the racist side for a black man But I agree with him regularly, when it comes to football. I'm not racist, I just can't stand Somalians or Ethiopians. I feel like that is national duty for us Kenyans. I also don't like people from Madagascar either, they love to think they're some sort of super special African just because they live on an island just off Africa, when all they do is fucking eat each other.

yeah, mbemba won't be here imo. Perhaps I'm being slightly optimistic but I think his age will make him consider staying here. I see what you're saying though, CL to Championship isn't exactly ideal. Unless Saivet goes back to France, I can see him being here.
-
I would hope it would be close to this- Elliot/Darlow New RB Mbemba (young enough to have a season down there) Lascelles Dummett/Haidara Townsend Shelvey Saivet Sammy/New LW Mitro Armstrong Anita is likely to stay imo (who would buy him?), that ginger fucknugget will stay, I have a feeling De Jong might also stay until Jan, Mbabu and a few of the kids will stay, I expect we'll still be lumbered with Obertan, unless he's out of contract soon? Riviere will stay. Gini will go (not that I think he'd be any good for us in the Championship), Sissoko will go warm the bench of a CL-chasing team, Aarons will go as he'll unlikely want to sign a new contract on Championship wages (our hope would be that no PL side would go for him, although I'm sure a promoted side would take a punt if I'm honest), Gouffran will hopefully spontaneously combust, Thauvin will be in France again, captain fistpumps will seemingly be around the club injured until the Day of Judgement, Perez will go warm Spurs' bench, Cisse & Tiote will get moves to China, San Lorenzo's #1 fan will hopefully go back to where he 'belongs', Doumbia's loan would have ended and he'll probably be spending his 63rd birthday in Italy, Janmaat will be off and if Krul finds some form, I can see him going in Jan. We need a strong team and squad for that division, it's a hell of a lot stronger than when we last played in it. It's even faster and more competitive now, and as someone has mentioned there's some absolutely massive clubs down there. We need a good manager who doesn't necessarily need to know the league inside out, I think that's quite a lazy stereotype (look at Hughton, for example)..but we certainly need a guy who can set up a team to reach a certain level of competitiveness, with our (hopefully) superior footballers seeing us through to the automatic places. I don't hold out much hope, though. I think we're more likely to do a Boro or Blackburn than anything else, linger down there for years with the odd (failed) shot at promotion. Dark fucking days man.

Hope he drills into the players that giving free kicks away in dangerous positions is, well, a dangerous thing to do (funny that). So many are guilty of it- Ginger cuntflap, Tiote, Janmaat, even Chancel's letting it slip into his game...it's frustrating and pretty f***ing amateur to watch. He's got a monumental task on his hands. Even when Leicester were in this position last season, they still had a determination and rapport with each other in the team, a willingness to fight and battle, the nous to stick to a gameplan and to be disciplined in doing so. Watching some bald banjo string licking captain saunter round the pitch like it's a s*** version of Centre Parcs when we don't have the ball doesn't exactly fill the most optimistic abuse victim (fan) with hope.
-
Never really rated him, even his fierce shot only finds the target once every 11 years, his stepovers are so pointless (not even used to beat a man, just...random) and as others have said, his first touch is shocking. I like him though, he tries, he's direct and some of his randomness comes off from time to time. In a half-decent side, his unpredictability would be an asset. In a relegation battle, he just isn't what we need...especially for the price the club paid. More than enough quality and pace for the Championship though, could see him thriving at that level. For that reason, I hope he stays if we go down.
-
He runs around a lot and he tries. He does sometimes to be fair, but the point stands - I don't see that being an especially useful characteristic in that league. It's the second professional level at the end of the day, there's some good teams down there...we still need to play football to win (even if it's just getting the ball wide and pounding the box with crosses). I can't see how him being constantly out of position by applying pressure in stupid positions will help us, the only thing is that we won't be punished by his crap positioning as much as in the Premier League...not exactly a positive
-
Fair comment. He's a top player at that level. I couldn't disagree more to be honest, I think he'll be fucking shit at Championship level as well. There isn't one redeeming quality he has to succeed in such a competitive and physical league
