Arteta looked like he was ready to burst into tears.

Arsenal is a sideways move at best.
-
As you'd expect really. Would hope some of the players stepped up a bit more to try and stake a claim to being a first team starter but no evidence of that whatsoever today.
-
Trippier clearly onside there whilst the commentator tells us a player of his experience shouldn't be off.

Is Targett a footballer?

That's a strike.

Bloody hell.
-
Arguably though they're more likely to get a result from this than in the replay. Should be something like Spurs owe them half the hypothetical gate receipts for letting it get to extra time.
-
Tamworth had two great chances there.
-
He might find himself under pressure towards the end I think. They should get top 4 but I don't think they'll be challenging for the title or even clearly in 2nd place. Feels like last season was their shot. This time around it feels like a fixture anyone can get something from.

Because we were in Arsenal Added Time. Giving fouls against them is contrary to that goal. See also the Livramento booking when I'm convinced every one or their throw ins during the match took longer.
-
Sunderland so bad they're in there twice.
-
The players waiting for the corner don't seem all that concerned.

I agree, but in some ways I don't think this is example is that bad. Often they go the other way - yellow, and only a red if the VAR feels the need to interject. Here he's gone with what he thinks is the right decision saying he's willing to have it changed if he's wrong. I think what they should be allowed to do is ask VAR to be involved in the first place. So no original on field decision. Ref can say what his view of it is but he'd like VAR to offer their input. Then he makes a decision. Would work well in this incident - probably more tricky when the game is flowing.
-
Does highlight a couple of interesting points. - Ref was influenced by where Schar was holding himself. So seems like his reaction helped sell the decision. Had he just popped to his feet might have been different. - VAR only really looked at the foot dragging incident. It didn't look at the build up which is where, arguably, the offence could be excused. Shows how little time they really have, especially under the pressure.
-
That whole period felt like a lot of "what ifs" with the amount of chances we just weren't putting away. To a degree we're now seeing the what if outcome.
-
Seems a bit mickey mouse.

Player of the Round? Really?
-
The reason they gave was "he didn't have time to move his arm out of the way". Maybe don't put your arm out wide like that then?

What's the point of VAR
-
That's a penalty.
