  1. It already is from what I'm told. You blind like? No, I'm told that his position is under very serious threat. Is the terrible low scoring football, poor league position and the fact he had a January breakdown due to lack of signings not enough, without being told?

  3. We've used 28 players this league season, Reading have used 27. We're nowhere near the top of players used this season That's the sort of lazy excuse Pardew would use when Man City are about to knock 5 past us. Can't compete blah blah.
  4. Ron, you've been shovelling the Shawcross shit for the best part of a decade. Give it up.
  5. And Kasey Palmer who's currently injured but played all season is also on loan from Chelsea. Really not sustainable to have 5 key first team players in on loan. Someone said earlier it might be too early for them to get promoted, I think it actually might be now or never and just as much chance of them dropping back down to lower end of Championship / relegation battles if they don't go up. Thought similar It's now or never IMO. Similar with Brighton. If both don't go up, they will lose the spine of their teams. Knockaert signing a new deal isn't long term planning, it's locking him into a contract to command a high fee if they don't make promotion. I'm sure Brighton are in quiet alot of debt due to not selling Dunk, Stephens and Knockaert in the summer. But instead choose to sign Murray, Duffy etc for one last shot at promotion with a capable team.
  6. Thought these were a decent team, until I realised Mooy is from Man City, Kachunga from Ingolstadt, Brown from Chelsea and the 1st choice GK from Liverpool. 4 of their best are loans.
  7. If Huddersfield beat us on saturday they will have done the double over us. Does that mean they can argue they are the best team in the Championship? That's what Blackburn will say as they tumble into League 1, tbh.
  8. The QPR game was a last minute own goal turning a banked win into a draw, Stifler.
  9. We were unbeaten in 5 or 6 with Lascelles playing at the end of last season, no?
  10. We've had a few enquiries from fans in the leazes, all lasses as it happens. It will happen I'm sure but with the numbers we have now it's busy enough just sorting the gallowgate. The east stand and milburn I'm not to sure !! I assume you have considered this, but surely if people want a flag they should move to the Gallowgate. Which would improve the atmosphere as more like minded people will be in the same area, so more willing to participate and sing?
  11. Hayden should be able to make the step up. If Colback applied his trade at a bottom 6 club for half a decade, then Issac can.
  12. We just have to match or better Huddersfields results. Admittedly this was 2 points dropped, but they dropped 2 aswell and it's another game they've missed an opportunity to gain ground. Their winning streak is over, which is a bonus.
  13. He's the best defender at the club. His communication seemed fine under McLaren so I don't know what's changed. It's more do to with his understanding of tactics. Sure the Chronicle posted an article saying he doesn't listen to instructions, hence the Wolves (H) game we lost. He was specially told not to play the ball out of defence through the middle and into the midfielders feet as they were being pressed and losing possession, yet he still carried on playing the same passes. We lost and he hasn't played since. Rafa doesn't trust him to understand and execute his communicated instructions.
  14. Colback starts = 2-0 down at HT. Colback subbed at 60 mins = 2-2 FT.
  15. It really isn't. Not even close to close. I guess it's similar to Carver keeping us up then wanting rid the next season.
  16. Does eating a pie really count as a "football-related matter"? Also there is no evidence that he made a bet either. No but he did admit he knew some friends had bet on him doing it (if you believe what's been reported). That would then make it illegal I think (well some sort of offence to do with betting anyhoo). But if he knows of the market's existence, then him eating or not eating the pie is deciding the result of the bet one way or the other. It's a bit of a dangerous precedent for these novelty bets (which the gambling companies have been warned about offering because of how easily compromised they are) to be regulated in the same way as a bet on the match is. Which is the correct answer. If he eats it or doesn't eat it he's influencing the result, he's in a situation where he can not win. Further more wasn't the bet actually that he ate something and not limited to a pie? I'm sure I have seen players eat sweets on the touch line before, what happens if he was eating a protein bar, where does the bet stand if he was chewing chewing gum? It was for a pie. Shush.
  17. He had a long spell out of the side and he played for s***, s***, s*** managers. And that not to take into account that we're talking about Gouffran as a Championship player now, not a top flight player. (I haven't seen anyone that wants him for next season. ) Anyway.... Lille wanted him in January, and probably will in the summer since he's a free agent. *Que "lol Lille"* Couldn't give a s*** - they're welcome to him. You were the one saying the "odd goal here and there" as if it was a positive for him being in the team. Make your mind up. Considering what we have, the league we're in and our league position, my point was that he contributed adequately enough. He can't be that bad if Rafa persists with him. (Which, in my opinion, for the team cohesion - rightly or wrongly.) Next season, Lille are welcome to him. (I hope that's not too confusing for you now?) Ritchie and Atsu with better goal and assist ratios. As other people have already explained, his goals don't make up for the fact he's a hindrance due to lack of technique, end product, and positional understanding for playing on the wing. Rafa plays him for defensive balance, I agree, much like he did with Kuyt at Liverpool. Doesn't mean Gouff is performing adequately.

  20. Yeap, I was in the milburn stand and 1st half could see Gouffran offering absolutely nothing for Dummett. Nessy, you constantly remind people of your position at the match as if it offers exclusive insight that can't be observed from the other 3 stands or TV Why??
  21. That attempted tackle on Kodjia when he just bounced off His best game in a while. Unfortunately its still a solid 4/10.
