I dont think we need him tbh. I wouldn't for a second turn my nose up at a player that good, but the cost, the form of Almiron and Isak coming back in could see Howe mix it up. I think theres more value in trying out for Tielemans and Trossard.

My opinion is we need another fullback, or/and Centre Back, we can't rely on Dan burn at LB and Trippier to not get burnt out or injured, currently if we lost Botman and Trippier at the same time to injury, then Burn would go into Botmans spot Targett would come in his trademark role, then we are weak at Right Back which then effects Miggy who's form I personally believe is dependent on Trippier, and also leaves us with no decent replacement at right back or cover in both positions I mentioned. You'd be left with Manquilo and Lascelles. Not good enough. I'd also consider one proper holding midfielder, because I think Bruno can go to another level and push on a bit.

We're too good. Eddie is quality, the players understand everything they're asked to do. And one other thing, why the fuck is Botman not selected for Netherlands? Absolute mad decision, he's absolutely sensational.

Not liking Joelinton out left, I prefer him battling for the ball in the middle and support for Bruno who I feel his own game is more beneficial if Joelinton is along side.

Would be interesting to see if some of their international players bottle it, and don't play with the usual intensity, perhaps worried they could get injured before travelling out to Qatar?

Seriously though, Miggy is doing great and the finishing speaks for itself, but like I think Shearer pointed out, a lot of it is down to having Trippier with him on that side and also Eddie's coaching. If he moved to Man Utd he'd just regress back to old Miggy.

Pleased for everyone, Eddie has these boys drilled. Making mass results from average games, the goals flying in, all sorts of players popping up with goals, proper team mentality. No player really slacks anymore, the fitness is there now, after years of Bruce allowing some of these lads to deteriorate. You could see we perhaps need some quality to come into our strongest side off the bench, but I'm sure behind the scenes it's all going on. Eddie is the man.
