Wilson's finish was world class, absolutely loved the touch that had Jones lost. He's a top player Wilson, ASM Miggy have worked hard, big mention to Joe Willock who's driving runs have really helped ASM get forward. Really gutted for Bruno getting booked early on, to be honest, all these lads have tried there hearts out. Great stuff ??

It doesn't really make sense to me to spend that much, we were only hearing a few days back that Paqueta could be available now for a similar fee, he's a Brazil international, Pedro has never even been capped at any stage. I'd probably say similar money gets you Gallagher who is also an international, 35m for this lad seems unusual, he's likely going to take Miggys spot, is he even any better? If this was one of those squad filler type transfers, and the fee was like 10m I'd not be making a sound, but the 35m sounds ridiculous. Its likely we're looking at players who can be paid for by installments over the fee upfront. Possibly why we didnt snap Cornet up at 17m, because although I consider that very reasonable for how he performed in his first PL season, I'm pretty sure the release clause would have been the full fee.
