Eddie Howe is fucking class!
-
Wilson's finish was world class, absolutely loved the touch that had Jones lost. He's a top player Wilson, ASM Miggy have worked hard, big mention to Joe Willock who's driving runs have really helped ASM get forward. Really gutted for Bruno getting booked early on, to be honest, all these lads have tried there hearts out. Great stuff ??

City trying to dissolve the momentum. Shithouses
-
City look rattled at our high press, is basically having what they're masters at, done back to them. Great watch this.
-
He's always been this ASM, people just got on his case last season because he had Wood as pinpoint.
-
Are the refs not supposed to book City players? Absolutely ridiculous these decisions.

Howe not even thinking about a draw. Good to hear he doesn't fear City. ?? -
Whenever they do this, it never seems to pay off, I've done the Salah supeboost, and more recently the Liverpool v Fulham, both failed. It's like they know something
-
That is interesting, but the fee is inflated in my opinion, he's never a 35m player. I'll stop going on now ???
-
It doesn't really make sense to me to spend that much, we were only hearing a few days back that Paqueta could be available now for a similar fee, he's a Brazil international, Pedro has never even been capped at any stage. I'd probably say similar money gets you Gallagher who is also an international, 35m for this lad seems unusual, he's likely going to take Miggys spot, is he even any better? If this was one of those squad filler type transfers, and the fee was like 10m I'd not be making a sound, but the 35m sounds ridiculous. My only other feeling on this one, is that Watford will be taking the fee in installments, I've said in other posts, possibly why we might have been mucking about a bit, was because we may be targeting players and clubs that will go with these type of buys over full fees? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hitc.com/en-gb/2022/08/19/keith-downie-makes-20m-newcastle-claim-about-leicester-city-star-james-maddison/%3famp That article sort of backs up what I'm saying, with Downie now reporting we only offered 20m for Maddison, because Downie claims that's all Nufc have left to spend. And the rest of the alleged deal taking it to 45m would have come much later, it's no surprise Leicester ignored the offer. If these are the deals we can only do right now, we'd be better off going down the loan to buy root? That way at least you get to see if they're a good fit, safer bet if it doesn't work out.
-
Enquiries and official bids though? These are the same guys/media saying were in for all sorts of players. I don't doubt we've enquired about all kinds of players maybe low offers have gone in? I'm probably just leaning towards it's not going anywhere. You kind of know an official bid has been made when Downie and Sky are on it.

I don't think there's anything in this, it doesn't make much sense at all. We get linked to new players every day now. The fact our owners were at Chelsea has more behind it than anything else. I'm just not convinced by this one. I'll be wrong though now I've said that
-
No second bid claim here. I don't know why, but after looking at his background how he started out as a defensive midfielder, only switching later to an attacking mid, before then becoming a striker late on in his career before joining Watford waiting for Visa clearance, it sounds like he doesn't really have a solid position that he's always played? I'm not entirely sure this transfer is even a thing, I'm starting to think its total bollocks.
-
Its likely we're looking at players who can be paid for by installments over the fee upfront. Possibly why we didnt snap Cornet up at 17m, because although I consider that very reasonable for how he performed in his first PL season, I'm pretty sure the release clause would have been the full fee. Could be why were moving for certain players over others, although in fairness I have no idea, I'm trying to use the Wood transfer as a reason for why were mucking around a little bit.
-
Probably not a grain of truth in any of this.
-
Relax have a beer I've got this. Go outside with a beer, hit the bell notification, What's he on about. Has he basically done it for YouTube views. Adam P has let me down here, stooping to Casey and Burnsie levels.
-
He's a great young player, around the time Watford signed him there were a lot of interested parties. Find it unusual though he's not been capped by Brazil at any level according to his wiki
-
Why would you need 3 at the back to accommodate Madison, who I doubt we'll sign? Gallagher is more likely I'm guessing with Staveley spotted at Stamford Bridge.

This place is already littered with soccer boys.

I get the feeling though if Bernardo silva ends up at the crack den, then City will get Paqueta.
