  1. I wonder what we used to do in training under Carver, Stone and Woodman
  2. Sorry but I just doubt every one of these emails, no chance imo that the name at the bottom is actually the person who wrote/instructed it. They are incredibly cringe, actions speak louder than words like. Stop fannying around and get the players to perform.
  3. Man City will fuck that up, Bayern and Real will stroll into the Semi's. Only decent tie is Barca v Atletico
  4. Could be Anita actually, with Wijnaldum dropping deeper like against Leicester. Elliot Janmaat Mbemba Lascelles* Shelvey Wijnaldum Townsend Perez Sissoko Mitrovic *Will probably be Taylor, unfortunately. I think this is the likely line-up, with Colback obviously LB.
  5. Anyone else noticed the motivational messages on .co.uk? http://s23.postimg.org/gzwa2tty3/motivation.jpg
  6. Genuinely still buzzing about Rafa, going to be one hell of an atmosphere on Sunday.
  7. Fancy you tonight, Liverpool don't impress me at all and you have a result in you every now and again.
  8. £200 on Man Utd @ 8/5 £150 on -1 @ 9/2 £100 on -2 @ 12/1
  9. Why do we constantly play the occasion rather than the game in front of us? Every single team in the league, including probably Villa would see Sunderland at home and say "we should get 3 points there". They are dogshit, absolutely awful. We've just employed one of the best managers available, have a much better squad and a home crowd to roar us on. There is simply no excuse for us not to beat these, if we lose then we deserve the shit we'll be in because you cannot stay up if you lose to these idiots.
  10. Would like to see him start, hope he is given a fair shot at it before his loan ends and we never see him again.
  11. There's a big difference between League One and the Premier League like Nicky Ajose (Swindon) is the leading scorer in that league, if we bought him in today and whacked him straight in the team there would be uproar. Armstrong is having a good season but I'm not convinced he is or ever will be a Premier League striker and I think that he has found his level (although I would love to be proven wrong).
  12. He's been very poor recently, but then again so has the whole team. He's not been particularly worse than anyone else really, think he and Sissoko can strive under Rafa.
  13. Aye, but the first (or current?) injury he picked up wasn't that bad was it? Just thought it is strange that he has never been mentioned anywhere and once again no updates on him.
  14. Told myself I wouldn't bother watching this game, wish I didn't.
  15. Love Papiss I do, not the greatest all round player but he knows how to score a goal. Would be interested to see him and Mitro up top together, it'd either be the most comical attacking threat we've ever had or it could work well.
  16. Leicester ST holder who is a good friend of mine seemed to think Sissoko was our best player, said that was the general consensus amongst the Leicester fans.
  17. Has this young chap fallen off the face of the Earth?
  18. That's just not true though. The angle was tight for sissoko, if anybody waits at the edge of the box for a cutback it's a guaranteed goal. So many goals are scored this way and imo he did the right thing, I just think townsend was a bit too keen and didn't have the composure to hold his run. Look at how barcelona scored their first goal against arsenal, neymar was through on goal, but he cuts it across to messi who easily slots it away. If it's good enough for those 2 I think it's good enough for us. Sissoko had a great opportunity to shoot and score, absolute rubbish was the angle tight. He was nearly at the edge of the 6 yard box, not on the touchline. Townsend would have had to shoot through three or four bodies to score, Sissoko had a free aim at goal. He bottled it and hit a lazy pass across the box.
  19. To be fair when your teammate is through on goal with a great opportunity to score, you don't expect him to fizz a pass across the box to a team mate who is arguably in a worse position.
  20. Does anyone else not know the difference between Fernandinho and Fernando? Could literally be the same player for all I know.
  21. Seriously, just imagine it. Leicester's atmosphere comprises of 20,000 people clacking their clackers and 20 people singing the actual songs. Considering they are on the brink of one of the worlds biggest shocks, they are pretty poor like I'd imagine we'd all be turning up to games naked at this point if we were in that position.
  22. I think they will, as soon as the odds come out I'll be sticking a decent wedge on it. I'd imagine they'll be somewhere from 20/1 - 50/1. Errr. I read Klaus' post as a joke? Like how Pardew and Ashley never wanted Europe?! Regardless I think they will, their squad is very average and their star man will potentially leave (Mahrez). The rest of them are just playing way above their sanctions, they'll be knocking around the bottom of the league next year when normality is resumed.
  23. Really hate how the club tells us nothing. That goes for the likes of Tiote, Cisse, Mbabu, Marveaux. Are they injured? are they not? are they close to coming back? Be specific for f***'s sake. Our club seems to randomly alienate players for reasons unknown, I used to put it down to Pardew doing it but it seems that Carver & McClaren carried on with the precedent. It did make me wonder if the rumours were true that all three of those worked under an agreement that players were often picked (or in this occasion, not picked) for them by above. Marveaux being an example, under all of those managers he's not played despite us being desperate at times.
