Doubt I'll even watch Man City tonight, they'll stroll through with a 3-0 win or something daft like that.

That is quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I've read

We've got better squads than both Norwich and Sunderland. We (now) have a much better manager than both Norwich and Sunderland. We are going into the last few games with new found optimism after our change of manager. All three of us have similar games remaining in terms of difficulty and we have to play both Sunderland and Norwich. 4 for me. If we lose on Sunday it'll be an 8, but I think we'll win.

He looks absolutely awful and has done for some time.

Made me laugh in the article it says that Cabral was sacked as soon as he was arrested... Funny that precedent wasnt followed with their child abuser.

It's been going around in my head over and over and over all day today.

I dont see why people are bothering with this clause, a manager can resign at any moment. If we went down, he'd resign anyway if he wanted to. The only thing it will effect I'd assume is his compensation package.

No chance! People are too busy loving off Leicester to care about rules.

One of our most attacking players and yet he is a left (right) back. -
The positivity towards our manager is so refreshing, there was optimism in an away end containing Newcastle supporters for the first time since the early 2000s
-
Which is a direct effect of him having to cover the whole of their half and hold the ball up because none of our other players enter their half To get the best out of him, someone needs to play up with him and not as deep as they currently do.

The most organised I have seen us in a long time. Leicester were quite poor imo, if we had strikers with confidence then we'd have won that easily. Thought it was an absolute stone wall penalty mind, if the ball is travelling towards goal and you change the direction of it with your arm then it should always be a penalty. Morgan moved his arm towards it and had plenty of time to move it out of the way. The rule around handball needs changing and is it open to opinion rather than set in stone. I'd have taken a point and I think we deserved one.

He's a better left back then he is midfielder, wouldn't have him in the side though.
-
Looks good in some games, then looks horrific in others. One of our few players who gives a shit, he's starting to grow on me a bit. Would be interested for him and Mbemba to have a run together.

I like Mitrovic, I think he is unfortunate in the fact he is currently playing in a side who create very little for him. Without him we have absolutely no attacking outlet, he holds the ball up but very often finds himself on his own with no team mates anywhere near him. If we had a Defoe style striker to run off him, we'd be much higher up the league (potentially Perez but he is asked to play too deep). If he had 40 chances a game and missed them all, I'd agree he's toilet but in reality he has to feed off scraps and probably only gets one chance a game. It is impossible for him to be a striker when the midfield have to protect the defence too much and our flair players create fuck all for him. He looked better with De Jong with him, I'd quite like to see them two play together on Sunday.

I do love how Benitez looks during training The short and cap combo is

Do we think the mackems will sack Big Sam if they go down?

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but when we live in a world where Sunderland as a club have protected and lied about Johnson and as supporters they have set up the 'Adam Johnson Appeal Fund' and sung songs celebrating the fact that he's a paedophile - I don't really think we're at fault to point that out. I doubt we'll ever agree on it, my initial point was that to compare it to chants Man Utd sung celebrating the death of many supporters was absolutely daft.
