I'm actually in love with the man tbh the feeling I get in my stomach when I see things like this, or hear him talk I know it sounds gay as f*** but I actually love the man... I'm 22 years of age and for the first time since a daft Euro 04 poster, I've stuck a poster up in my wall (the one of him free with the programme on the last game of the season) and even when I was a kid I had very few posters up in my wall cus I thought they were cringey as f***... But he changes it i would genuinely let the man sleep with my girlfriend (don't think she'd be too keen though) genuinely the most excited I've been about a season since the summer of 07 and it's all down to that man I f***ing love him !!!!! I'm down with the gay love and the swinging. But a poster on your wall? That's too far, FFS. Would usually agree with you man, but I canny help it !!!!!

It doesn't matter what the kit looks like in fairness it's always gonna be remembered and judged by the success/lack of success we had in it, for example the 3 kits you just name there are all associated with, happy times at the club, even though coincidently they were all beautiful kits imo, they could of been wearing bin bags smothered in shite during the seasons you mentioned and we would still remember them fondly because of the sucess... Kits like the 97/99 one which is a proper cult classic imo was always being slated because bar 1 or 2 great moments (tinos hatrick, Shearers goal against Spurs in the cup semi) the majority of the 2 seasons we wore it were filled with underachieving, it's the same with the 03/05 jersey which is right up there with the grandad collar Jersey as one of the best we ever had again isn't held in the same esteem because it's associated with failure to qualify for the champions league, and some horrid performances under souness... I could be just chatting shite here but that's my theory ! Lol

On Saturday night I went to the Orlando City match here in Orlando and my wife's friend who brought her boyfriend who's from London and is a West Ham supporter. That c*** met me for 5 minutes and already tried making fun of us for getting relegated, "no chance you keep Rafa", Should have kept Pardew, Championship is a tough division etc, hates Andy Carroll. So this f***ing guy, been living in NYC for a good few years now, comes down to my city, to watch my local side play a match, is with all of my friends....and decides he's going to just go all mad bantz to make friends? Nahhhhhh, hope West Ham burn in hell now. Had a similar experience a few years ago met a west ham fan in a bar in ireland we where having a bit of "banter" at the start but eventually the argument got a bit heated when we where discussing who the bigger club was, he then started to chat s**** about "when was the last time use won something" I replied that they weren't much better there was only an eleven year difference in the last trophy that we won, he went nah mate we won the league cup in 94 !!! After about ten minutes of laughing at him I got me phone out and showed him that villa won the league cup in 94, he then grabbed me phone and f***ed it to the floor, obviously we started to scrap before both of us where removed from the public house in question .... But aye I hate West Ham too Love this story; love that you scrapped with him after he threw your phone. That Guy sounds terrible. Regarding my story, the audacity of someone trying to have 1 sided banter with a guy you don't know, in his home town, with his friends & wife...idiot. I was this close to literally only talking about Payet + Great Season. c***. That is the kit I would bet my life on it, it's not bad but the gold trim just doesnt make it feel like a newcastle top it, it does look rather lower leaguish... It's probs the nicest Jersey puma have made for us
