  1. The fact is he's not from here so he wont ever get it. We will always have the obssesion with each other. Difference in forum land we keep it to one thread and it isnt massive tbh.....however their RTGroom forum every day has 20% of its posts(guessing) about is in some shape or form. The absolute trouble with Mackems is they hate us being the big fish of the region in everything , always have and always will be the turds of the North East. They have the upperhand in football but still hate the fact that we own them in life, we took the piss for 30 years so we have to take it back.the swing back to us will happen one day lads, till then let the have a chuckle cos in truth we deserve it as a club the way we went on. We'll be back Sunlun, when? Fuk knows but we will.
  2. how the fuck do you know/ you know jack shit about him............you will now go and scurry for some shite stats no doubt. you aint a scout/manager etc etc...............
  3. why are people getting their knickers in a twist, trust the gaffa, its cheap, its no harm ffs
  4. Trouble is we all are branded the same.just like they are all peados....just suck it up and ignore the stupid kunts, they hate it for all eternity the Newcastle is a bigger name than Sunderland.
  5. Adam Campbell was never the best striker in League One. Some people seem to go out of their way to talk down local players, as if it proves what a detached and rational fan they are. Armstrong scored 20 goals in League One at the age of 18 - it's just so clearly moronic to write someone off immediately following that. i'm not writing him off.............he's just not very good
  6. does it all the time, and watch how many free kicks he gives away in dangerous positions, mental.
  7. Wait for the Rooney comparison now... so was Rooney
  8. ive watched this lad in the reserves, and first team squad, since he was 16 and he has pace but is very erratic in his football. he runs and chases but with very little purpose, and yes he can finish but needs a clear opening to do it it.he's not stong enough to lead a line at all. i wanted him to do it but to me he isnt a very good striker , no matter how long a run he gets in the team he won't make it, when he has had his wee chances he's in effect done nothing that shows me he can be a top flight striker, already Gayle looks twice the player he is. sorry but Arma is not the answer and is out of his depth Gayle is 6 years older and played in Championship / premier league for a lot more games. Armstrong had 1 season on loan playing proper football and scored 20 goals. I don't buy this size thing, the centre halves at that level will be physical and he managed just fine. Strikers don't have to be 6ft if the team accommodates it. Gayle isn't that tall. Defoe had the ba lumped at him and manages to score because he has that instinct and gets on the end of things. Armstrong might never lead the line on his own but I dont think we should be too tough on a 19 year old with 1 full season behind him and trying to make it at his home club with all the pressure that brings. ok take away all of that, he has shown NOTHING in a first team shirt, and if he wasn't one of us we'd be saying he's shite.......truth?
  9. that away top was lush mind. i might invest for the first time in 20 odd years
  10. he runs and chases but with very little purpose, and yes he can finish but needs a clear opening to do it Granted I haven't seen as much of him as you, but the goals of his I saw last season contradict that no, he can score at a level, 1st division level which is much slower, but remember he had a great run of goals then he went missing for a long period at Cov and couldn't score once he was sussed out
  11. my player of the season predictor will be Janmaat, if he stays he plays and will flourish in the fizzy pop

  13. Just back from this. Decent first half, Ritchie puts a good cross in, Perez was a wee bit lost today, Anita was tireless.Went to sleep in the second half but all in all a good run out. Vitesse fans were nuts
  14. Wanna go now....feels like the season is starting today
  15. Too much optimism around, i would settle for a comfortable draw in this. Too many thinking we will walk it.daft
  16. A mackem at work today was giving it billy big balls, top 6 easy now they have Moysee. Ok
  17. Aye, shame it's not in Newcastle eh? Alright love....and your sweet City is lush, the tree lined surburbia, fine bars and restaurants in the plush city centre that harbours such boutique in the world famous Bridges shopping experience and Joplings. Look to the South of the area to find Pennywell , Ryhope and then North to the Darrass Hall of Sunderland that is Cleadon. I love the City of near culture that is Sunderland, its lush.
  18. just had a gander, threads all ower the place on us they still love a sexy mag strory
  19. Hadly ever go to friendlies. Not gonna start now

  21. Sorry to drag this up. Just watched his finish off last night. Now i once saw a player in him and he came in and started well, succesive managers play him, Rafa too can see something. Has Goofy got it in him to do a good job in the championship? Is this his level to shine, replacement for Gini? Laugh..i know..but....
  22. Is he nailed on to start though?
