Was half that number until they found out there was a Northern Soul night on at Felling Social Club, with free pie and peas... -
I know he's a couple of years younger, but I imagine Torres would have as much impact as Ian Rush did.

Apparently Moussa has now developed his own training techniques, makes him nailed on for a good run in the Champions League. Looks to have made him a bit more agile, to be fair... https://mobile.twitter.com/AwardsDarwin/status/845418463879421953/photo/1

Which Makem bastard broke Pistone's leg?
-
Had the same (looking) injury and sense of disgust at seeing it was worse than how it felt.

That man is an all round class act:

Are we really still talking about this chunk of irrelevance?

Cairney should feature in Team of the season. He has best stats for a midfielder, according to Squawka.

3-0. -
It's getting a bit tame in here chaps, in the words of the famous football strategist Biffa Bacon, doesn't anyone feel like calling Rafa's pint a puff?

Yep. And while we're on, we could also chuck that (jellied eel munching?) blue arsed Ritchie back ower the wall, quick smart. Would be tragic for pseudo sweaty-sock Cairney to oust your favourite post-Batty central midfielder.

Two puns for the price of one. Nice ?.

Gayle and Atsu to start. Let's get at these--Tourette's suffering,Oxford Bags wearing, pie munching, pier less chunterers--from the off! (Phew! Glad to get that off me chest). -
Defence: would get rid of Selz, bring Krul back and ok with keepers. Central Defenders: would like to see Mbabu back and feature at some point, plus add one top class player (perhaps in autumn of career). If so sell Hanley or Mbemba. Full backs: Gamez away and Lazaar. Keep the rest, hopefully Haidara can demonstrate worth/get more game time. Add a combative left back. Midfield: 5 to go. Colback, de Jong, Saivet, Guoffran, and Diame (sick of seeing the ball bouncing off the t***) and looks like he's lost his fitness/legs. Aarons to feature (third season in a row I've hoped for this). Need a Knockaert, a Cairney and somebody else who can actually play left and/or cover for no.10/AM. Forwards: Perez, Rivière and either Mitrovic or Murphy away for some dosh. Two strikers in (one CL standard but towards end of career; one potential shining star). Major investment in creative no.10. Make this the biggest expenditure. Please.

loathe Mourinho but Keane should be ashamed of himself there Why ? Keanes showed himself up talking crap plenty of times but he's spot on here. Man who can't manage either a football team or his own emotions going to town on one of the most successful managers in the modern game. Urgh. Mourinho can't manage his emotions (see eye gouging etc) and would he have done as well at Sunderland ? Give keane a premier team and the ability to blow most out the water financially and we'll talk. I'm not a mourinho fan. Fair enough, but Keane is a f***ing arsehole: self-centred and psychopathic. He was a bully as a captain not a real leader and obviously was going to struggle as a manager, particularly to sustain the kind of consistent relationships you need in order to keep the whole team onside (so to speak) and motivated. He captained Man Utd to their most successful spell in their history Yep, I 'm sure his captaincy added value, especially in the Champions League final.

Burnley haven't won away this season, apparently. If we were in SAFC's boots, i.e. the Sod's Law Rule, which seems to haunt us in such situs, would apply and I would expect them to end their run and beat us. Sadly for our disadvantagedWearside cousins, they seem to have our luck this season. So a Burnley win seems likely. First goal's the winner....
