When I've watched them he's the only one that's put in a proper shift and shown a lot of character. As long as you have the fitness and willingness to work and listen to instructions anyone can fit into a pressing system really.

Missed the game so catching up on highlights now. Kind of hard to work out how well we played from them though, looks like it could have been another 4-4 on a different day. Still confident we'll get top 4 anything in this one would have just been a bonus.

You aren't going to get a homegrown player from a premier League side for a Botman price though are you? Longstaff was rumoured to be about 40/50m wasn't he when Man U were interested? McTominay probably a similar fee to Gordon. Toney would probably go for more than Isak. Rice will go for at least twice the price of Bruno etc.

Think he's got clauses in his City contract to move to Madrid/Barca in the future too. He'll probably do a couple seasons here then move to be Benzema's replacement I reckon.

I remember in January myself and @LV having to put up with a fair few idiots claiming he couldn't play out on the left. Actually scary what we might have achieved had we had him and Wilson fit all season.

He's had 3 starts and two of them when the midfield balance has been lost with Longstaff missing. Thought the timing of his runs was good and although it ended up becoming too predictable in the end him been willing to go so much on his left was a positive sign.

We've scored 13 in our last 3 and won 7 of our last 8. We shouldn't be worried about Liverpool who are scraping wins and nearly just blew a 3-0 lead.
