I'd imagine getting a final ticket will be easier than you'd think.
-
Southampton manager seems totally uninspiring, like
-
Their gaffer looks like he's saw a ghost watching the draw
-
More nerve racking than waiting for the last minute votes in the traitors game.
-
If City go out would you rather play Man u over two legs or in the final?
-
Imagine how furious you'd be if Dan Burn scored that against your team though
-
Even in his highlights he looks more like a wide forward than out and out striker in the majority of the clips. Pretty much all his ball carrying, dribbling etc stats are that of a wide player too. We'd simply not have signed him when we did if we didn't think him and Wilson could fit in the same team together in the short term.

What's happened to Harvey Barnes? Looked destined for a top 4 side at one point, he's looked like a championship player this season.
-
Brighton finsihing above Chelsea would be glorious, like
-
Didn't Potter bring all his scouts over with him from Brighton to Chelsea? So he's either more say than people are thinking or they're being ignored. Don't have alot of sympathy for him as he knew what he was getting involved with at Chelsea anyway. Don't blame him for taking the gig either mind but he can't have a lot of complaints.
-
He's more mobile than Shelvey and we did fine with him in the side. We've got enough runners and legs in the side as it is we need some actual quality on the ball. Obviously it would be great if we could find a player that has both but they aren't easy to come by. Tielemans Bruno and Joe is a pretty well balanced midfield. I don't think everyone we sign has to be a pressing machine. We wouldn't need to press as much if we could keep a hold of the ball a bit better too.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

Chris wood is regularly being used as a sub in premier League games, man. Tragett and Maxi would have played if fit but other than that those are the type of players we have to call on for the first team if we get injuries or suspensions. It's not like he fielded a team of kids and tried to throw the game. We just have a really poor squad outside of the starting 11. -
He's a star player who misses a suspiciously high amount of games it's always going to lead to ITK rumours. The only other players we have the fall into the same category of french black wingers are Obertan who I can't remember any stories about and Ben Arfa where they were true. Honestly think it's just a case of people wanting to be ITK rather than racist. Dubravaka went out on loan then there's stories about it being because he kicked off and through his gloves at Eddie yet first game back he's starting for us. Just a couple of weeks ago people were claiming Ben White wenr home from the World Cup as he was shagging blokes ffs

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

He had no choice but to rest players, man. Most in fact had even weaker lineups to send out in the pregame thread. There was enough out there to beat a League one side and we did have the chances. Their keepers had a good game and we've missed three sitters. Just one of those days that often happen in these sort of games. The hectic schedule, our threadbare squad along with the league cup and league form made perfect sense to give our keys players a rest for this fixture and prioritise others. He's been let down by the players he's given a chance too, it's hard to pin much blame on him. -
He's awful but seemed to get a lot of praise simply for being in a winning side. If a strikers biggest contribution is their defensive workrate it's usually a sign they aren't very good.
-
He was brilliant against City, like. As we're we on the whole so I don't fully buy into that we can't function properly as a team with him in it. With Joe on the left of the midfield and Burn staying back that's still fairly solid. He does seem to be trying to change his game to fit our style as well. The story could well be true but there's always people trying to jump to conclusions about him being moody or kicking off behind the scenes.
-
Think he's been on the David de Gear.
-
He's on 250k p/w according to the Chelsea forum. It's supposed to be the same deal Mount is wanting to renew at.
-
Tielemans has 6 months left on his contact. I could seeing him running it down and getting a massive signing on fee in the summer and probably alot higher wages than we'd be willing to offer him now.
-
Still raging about our draw against Palace.
-
I quite enjoy some good timewasting/shithousing tactics. Used to love Atletico doing it to the big boys in their prime in the champions league and seeing it all boil over and kick off near the end of games. Ultimately it's just upto the refs to add on an appropriate amount of time and make sure teams don't take the piss too much. There's no need for stopclock shite added to the game.
-
I've lost count the number of 'top 4' games I've sat through over the years that have been total snoozefests with neither team showing any ambition to win the game. It's just nowt but bitterness that we're actually really well organised and hard to break down despite spending a fraction of the teams around us.
-
Arteta acting likes he's not the softest bloke on the touchline
-
Would be canny if we could string more than 2 passes together, like. Seem a bit nervous to properly go at them when we win the ball back.
