In terms of purely performances we've probably been the most consistent alongside Arsenal and City this season. Spurs basically never turn up in the first half, Liverpool regularly give up 4/5 massive chances a game. Chelsea look pretty gash and don't have a striker. Unless we suddenly forget how to defend or pick up a load of injuries we have as good as chance as any. We may end up picking up a few too many draws but I can't see us collapsing or performance levels dropping massively.

Those were never really going to be able to capitalise on it though. Leicester regularly get their best players taken by the top sides whenever they do well they aren't much of a concern to the top 6. We won't be the same, we will only get better and invest more and that will scare them. Within one year we've gone from bottom of the league to top 4, that's huge.

Think it's been pretty obvious for years now Merson only has the gig at Sky because they know he'll drink himself to death if they get shot of him.

Still view top 6 as amazing achievement if we could do it. Top 4 looks really tight if the teams win their games in hand. That said we have no European distractions this season and the opportunity to strengthen in January. Out defence being so good gives me a fair bit of confidence, the other side's around us look like they could leak goals. It's going to really tight and competitive.
