  1. Thought he put in a good shift. You can tell when clearly making an effort to be more of a team player as well. Actually think in some instances it hurts him though, he's looking for passes in positions he'd probably be better of driving at their defence like he used to. Think he just needs a run of games in the side and he'll start to find the right balance.
  2. https://www.redcafe.net/threads/eddie-howe-22-23-newcastle.473609/page-3 Thread is a good laugh. Love how it starts of full of praise then descends into fume.
  3. It's another game where we've not even faced a shot on target to a team in 6th place. We dominated the game and it's another one where we could have scored 3 or 4 had we taken our chances. There's no selection or tactics to criticize howay man
  4. Enock Mwepu who retired because of his heart condition has collapsed with a suspected heart attack.
  5. Bruno can't even run still bossing the midfield.
  6. Joe's going to put in a MOTM performance.
  7. Early goal and we go on and win comfortably. Otherwise I wouldn't be surprised to see a repeat of the Leeds game.
  8. Richarlison bailed them out of relegation last season more or less single handedly, without him there was always going to be a fair chance they'd go down this year. But seeing it all play out like this is absolutely glorious and we are only half way through the season Hopefully they go the way of their mackem mates and linger in the lower divisions for the foreseeable.
  9. Remember everyone being jealous of West Ham's squad and depth pre season?
  10. I'm sure Froggy knows it was a ridiculous decesion, like You'd think people would realise by now anything he posts in the football section is purely to try and wind others up.
  11. If you motion towards the ball when you're offside you are interfering with play. You can't shield the ball for that long and claim it's not interfering or influencing any of the action ffs
  12. Think there's a decent chance United finish above City now.
  13. Bruno even sounds like a rat.
  14. Fernandinho used to drag players down on the counter every week too
  15. City miss the pace, movement and directness of Sterling and Jesus on the wings. When they were chasing goals in a game it felt inevitable they'd score and you'd be under immense pressure, now they're just cross merchants with slow buildup.
  16. How's running alongside the ball for 5 yards not interfering with play?
  17. Garnacho would be perfect if there was ever an origin story based on Bond villain Jaws.
  18. Firestick and IPTV for around £50 a year and that includes all the 3pm games. Worth it if you're using it only for those to save faffing on with loads of shitty streams.
  19. They mostly played really well I thought just lacked a striker to convert their chances. Although they did seem to go on weird losing streaks quite often. Seems like the losing streaks and lack of goals have carried on at Chelsea for him, as badly as they are ran he does seem to be doing a poor job there. Can't really see any signs of improvement or style of play he's trying to implement where you can think he just needs more time.

    Joelinton

It's going to be a touchy subject when so many people have had to deal with deaths directly related to drink driving. So seeing people trying to justify or downplay it because they like him as a player is going to rub some people up the wrong way. He doesn't need crucified but he also doesn't need people trying to make excuses for him either. He's got behind the wheel after drinking, he's been a dickhead. Got confidence Eddie will handle it the best way he sees fit.

You can appear 'fine' but your reaction times could still easily be effected. It's that type of logic that drink drivers use as an excuse to get behind the wheel. There's obviously a scale but to say people who drink after a few glasses of wine aren't genuinely endangering people is really daft.
  22. Our backup options showed what they are capable of against Sheffield Wednesday. We have to try and strengthen in the position we are in now. We can't just expect our first 11 to play every game and stay fit for the next half of the season especially with how intense we play. That would be the risky option. I wouldn't worry about upsetting morale, bringing in quality palyers gives everyone a lift. We are being properly run now, everyone they've signed has been a good character, there shouldn't be anything to be worried about.
  23. His post match interview was quite bizzare too Just seemed to be rambling on for ages about stuff like being a born again Christian and how he hopes he won't get abuse from the Southampton fans on his way home for once tonight.
  24. I'd imagine most with a season ticket who aren't planning on going will have loads of offers from mates/family/people they sit next to to get them one.
