  1. Yeah it does. The rules state that it's a different phrase of play, and also if it hits off defender then you can't be offside when the last touch was off an opposition player. The ball hitting the Wolves player on it's way toward the goal doesn't make it another phase of play in this instance. It's pretty clear it's offside, otherwise going by what you think players could stand anywhere behind defenders in an offside position (not in the GK eyeline) and hope a deflection from a shot makes them active. That would be ridiculous now wouldn't it.
  2. No that doesn't count as the ball is moving forward from the shot, hitting the Wolves player as it does doesn't mean Lascelles becomes onside, that's not how it works. Lascelles is offside as he comes back from an offside position from the first shot and lays it off for Mitro to score . Couldn't care less to be honest, it counted and we've had our share of shocking decision in the past. Nice for one to go our way like.
  3. Kevin Pressman (GK) in a penalty shootout is still the best i've seen. It went faster than Superman with a boner.
  4. Seeing them goals i can understand now why Pardew prefered Obertan, Gosling or Gouffran. What a fucking abortion of manager and person he really is.
  5. I think he did miss it, when you see from behind the play the ref isn't looking at the foul. I reckon the 4th official has had a word in his ear. Which is still good stuff if true like.
  6. He's a nothing player. As protection for the back 4 playing as a DM, he's positionally awful, he makes thick as mince tackles in dangerous areas and offers the back four no shield/protection of any kind, an utter liability there. In CM he can't pass a ball 5 yards, he has no pace of any kind and can't tackle at all expect for the previously mentioned thick as mince giveaway fouls. As CM who gets into the AM positions...... Pahahahahahahaaha............bahahahahahahahahahaa. Nope. He's a nothing player.
  7. Would it be just the once then so far. You would think the way managers and pundits go on it's all the time.
  8. I still dont get that, Saturday/Wednesday/Saturday, that's not 3 in a week. It's 2 in a week and 1 in the next week. Should put this in the football pet hates.
  9. Exceptional yesterday, a fantastic signing.

    Paul Dummett

He's so slow with it too. The amount of times he clears or passes down the line, with the ball getting a knick or partially blocked by the opposition is ridiculous.
  11. Apart from the goal that won the game, the game we won 1-0. 99% of everything else you said i pretty much agree with. It won us the game, but with Murphy or Gayle up there we wouldn't have been pinned back as much. The game changed when he went off and we weren't relying on Mitro popping up with a sitter. Can't agree with that. Tactically we were awful (defence aside), hoof ball and Colback in midfield is doing us no favours at all. Gayle mind you would offer runs in behind which is key to Rafa tactics to be fair. I think is unfair to blame the poor football performance on Mitro though, when imo it was us a team being awful with the ball for most of the game.
  12. What ? You mean that Rafa despite having already asked Thierry Henry to become his assistant, for when he takes over at Arsenal after accepting the job, you mean none of that is 100% accurate... Well i just can't believe that isn't true.
  13. Where's that Birmingham paper with their we're coming to get you Newcastle story when Bruce signed, 20 odd points behind they were, now they're 29 behind
  14. I reckon Rafa isn't serious about him or Anita getting a new contract, he can't really say i don't want either in the future right now. He's just being diplomatic at the moment when asked.
  15. He said in the interview after the game he just did lazily as he thought he was offside, at least he was honest

  17. I take it the dog was watching the TV but you were listening to it.
  18. Two of the other Norwich goals weren't that bad either. Howson's is special mind.
  19. Also most wins in top 5 divisions. And won as many away as at home. Very similar in both. Horrific football but effective Aye but what a defence. As much as i hate the poor play it's nice to have some solid defence in, what ? an eternity.
  20. Dunno like, as good as he was defensively V Derby he was as bad against QPR when everything they done came down his side. Love him to develop some poise in their final third, gets in great positions but rarely looks like putting good balls in. He's work in progress, real potential there imo. Odd bad game here and there but i think he's look very good for the future.
  21. Aren't you the guy who said you wanted us to lose a game 5-0 because Gayle was playing ahead of Mitro? Aye, take no notice of the mong. Must have missed that, yeah sod off mung.
