  1. Concur with most of this. Shelvey had a few decent passes but whatever way the game was played, he didn’t see much of the ball. The midfield gave the ball away a lot too. I’d give Perez a 5, very ineffective. Wonder how long it will take Rafa to replace him with Muto.. We can’t keep losing games like this. It was the story of last season too “we should have gotten something from that” Man City, Man Utd away, Watford and possibly Liverpool & Chelsea away were the only games where we didn’t have a sniff, every other game it was a tale of hard luck pretty much. It was the same today. Spurs were there for the taking, team just didn’t have the belief to step on them.
  2. Eurgh Manquillo all season Victor Fernandez has a great chance to kick on now. Looked great in pre season in fairness.
  3. I was very impressed with Muto, looked very sharp and has real pace and stronger than he looks. Going on what I’ve seen today. Take Joselu and Perez out for Rondon/Muto and we'll be a different prospect. Diame grew into it in second half but he was well off the pace in the first. Hopefully he just takes a while to get going..

    Shola Ameobi

The lad is so thick he called the police when he arrived home to a trashed house, forgot he’d had a party there the night before.
  5. Think this one is on Rafa. Terrible decision to bring Atsu on. Muto and Rondon looked good, there’s goals there. Diame better in second half but still nowhere near the level. Atsu should be nowhere near the match day squad, why not bring Ki on? Can’t fault he effort.. we should be ok this season. Should have gotten a point at least from that game though.
  6. Can’t really fault the effort. Diame does look off the pace though, even tracking back there he was struggling. Kenedy, Shelvey and Ritchie have been excellent. Perez anonymous. Joselu doing his best but we need more pace up front. Spurs are great when teams let them play their game, if we frustrate them things could get interesting. Ki, Rondon and Muto on would do nicely
  7. Diame not been great but we keep giving him the ball in terrible places. He’s not one for quick passing football. Maybe Ki might move things quicker with Shelvey.

Best of luck today! Stick it to the cunts
  11. He’d give Rafa cold sweats at night. I’m not sure there’s a modern game manager out there who could harness his talent. King Kev and SBR would have done just fine though.. Best XI (1990-2018) ? Given Barton Woodgate Albert Enrique Ben Arfa Cabaye Speed Ginola Cole Shearer Subs: Pav, Lascelles, Lee, Beresford, Robert, Ferdinand, Beardsley
  12. Here’s Belgian Sideshow Bob on before Fred gets sent off. Imagine, 70 million between the two of them..
  13. His vision has been horrendously bad at times this evening, why he tried to pass to someone who was about 5 yards offside is beyond me. He looks like he’s carrying more weight than he ever did at Arsenal. Could just be age? Still a good player but doesn’t look nearly as much of a handful anymore.
  14. Leicester will do just fine this season if they keep up the same standard. Madison (sp) looks the part.
  15. From the minute Rafa got here he’s went on and on about getting behind the players, back the team etc. That’s all this statement is. There is no big conspiracy where Rafa has been turned ffs I’m not suggesting for a moment that there is one. This is pure Keith Bishop propaganda, nothing more nothing less, but Rafa isn’t the type of person to remain silent if they’d added his name to something he didn’t approve of. Like I suggested, maybe there’s more to it. Maybe he is going to sign a new deal? And this is just to keep the peace. Who knows.. If he was going to leave, or should I say if he wanted to leave, I’d expect him to make things as uncomfortable for Lee Charnley, Mike Ashley and the rest of the imbecile squad as possible. Like he did at Liverpool when they started fucking him about.
  16. Rafa is a strange one, he loves football that much that he could quite easily put all the anger of being messed about to one side once the buzz of match day comes around. Maybe he even sees it as an extra challenge to work with inferior players. I’m disappointed if he really put his name to that. But maybe he knows something we don’t. We'll never know what’s been said in any of those phone calls or meetings.
  17. It’s time to step up the online abuse. This time is just direct it solely at Mike Ashley, no point bothering with #IfRafaGoesWeGo any more. He saw it, he didn’t give a shit. Clogging up his social media accounts with total abuse towards him will damage their brands. A prolonged campaign online against every brand he owns, Twitter, Facebook, review sites. Even sign all of his businesses up to ridiculous online newsletters. The stranger the better.
  18. The cheek of that statement, straight from the mouth of Bishop! As if the supporters would not back Benítez and the players. This is no more than a terrible attempt to dissuade people from protesting tomorrow. And for anyone to suggest that MASH holdings, isn’t connected to investment elsewhere other than NUFC is completely naive. Check out their financial results for the last year, profits down 72%, cash flow down, debt more than doubled.. NUFC’s operating costs come directly from MASH holdings, and that’s exactly where all major revenue goes first, sponsorship, tv revenue etc. Why wouldn’t he use that pot of money if it was there and readily available?
  19. Fernandez not in the squad. The other six are available for selection. I have a feeling Rafa will opt to protect the back more so if it’s either going to be Clark or Schär alongside Lascelles. The way Spurs play it’ll be a case of fine margins and any mistake or slip up will have us in trouble. Clark is very error prone and Schär doesn’t have the experience yet, the pace could catch him out. My shout for starting 11: Dubravka Yedlin Lascelles Clark Dummett Shelvey Diame Ki Ritchie Kenedy Rondon
  20. Can’t wait to see how they’ll have the books fiddled in the next set of accounts. My money is on that 144m loan still there and in full.
  21. Massively lacking in confidence. It was mistake taking him from his brother, who we could have had for about 2 million.. seems to have flourished ever since.
