Even by Mike Ashley standards, this was a particularly cuntish summer. I can’t help but think this is linked to a takeover of House of Fraser. They reckon 70 million buys over 50%. That’s about what we should have been spending.. that cash is just sitting there, waiting for him to call his loan in, or just take the money..

It’s one of the only real positives of the summer, we’d have been fucked without him. He could always be sold in January, but probably not if Rafa has any say in it. Even if it’s the last thing he does at the club. I fully expect the love in with Maguire to falter if Leicester revert to type. Man Utd will soon realise what the better deal is.. if they don’t come in for him in January, it’ll be in the summer as soon as Pardew or TCA take charge.

Hopefully all that misplaced last minute optimism by the sheep will turn to pure rage. Every single club making massive strides forward except us (and Spurs who were already decent). Such an embarrassment of a club.

Rafa sold him after one season. Great signing ffs. Koulibaly is his replacement. Makes a lot of sense imo. You watched a lot of Napoli like? So solid and great that once Koulibaly came in, Rafa sold him over the other CBs he had. Koulibaly is the best CB for Napoli, a team come closest to challenge Juventus in these few years. Fernandez is just an average player. What's surprising? Or you failed to understand that it's already "great" for us to sign an average player under current circumstances? Koulibaly is one of the best CB’s in the world, why would any player worth his salt want to sit on the bench?

We had fuck all cover at the back last season, that’s why we were in or around the relegation zone for most of it.. Dummett played about half a season and Gamez and Haidara managed 5 appearances between them. Mbemba not much more. Manquillo started 20 PL games! We desperately need cover at the back. I’m not convinced about Schär and Yarney needs time. Clark played too much last season, he’s just not up to the level.

It certainly puts the supposed mess he inherited in huge perspective. 76 million?! And we were supposedly going to “do a Leeds” So where did the 68 million added on come from? According to Lee Charnley he gave a loan of 15 million to cover operational costs when we got relegated the second time. So where else has that debt come from? We’ve been mainly in the surplus every season under him. I’m betting that if someone were to go over the reported finances and compare them to what teams were supposedly getting in tv revenue (not to mention sponsorship) that things would soon begin to not add up, at all.

So he’s doubled our debt through his methods of running the club. That’s something to be proud of alright.. I’m surprised he’s bitten on this one, the comments on social media are obviously the issue. Total lies though. As if sports direct employees were singled out and threatened on social media..

I’m not sure much has changed. Those quotes (on the contract) seem out of context for the timeframe. Earlier this week Miles Starforth wrote an article on Lascelles with month old quotes but played out like he’d given an exclusive interview. Can’t trust a word the press say (unless it’s from Caulkin who has earned his stripes) but otherwise they’re all rodents.
