    Transfer rumours

Nowt to do with Charnley being incompetent. He's just doing what he's told. Fully agree. They put the illusion out there that they don’t know what they’re doing, but the reality is that they are more in control of their money than any other club in the PL at this point in time. If they wanted to spend money the club would still attract some very good players. The fat man refuses to buy into this crazy money era though, he’s never once come close to breaking the transfer record in all these years. Any supposed bid above that I call bullshit on. Multitude of reasons why. The main one being that his feelings were hurt when we turned on him after Keegan. He will never get over that. Ever. But he also likes a gamble and am guessing his big bet could be that the PL bubble will burst. He’ll do what he does best in those conditions and act like the vulture he is. Big bet though. Especially now that he’s potentially cash strapped. No way he’s going to spend if he’s got a lump sum of tv money put away for a rainy day..
  2. Well kidnapping and leaving him in a dingy basement somewhere to starve out his days. We need to hire Pat* Phelan!
  3. ? that would mean spending time with the cunt, and since when does missing mean kidnapping?
  4. He’s already gotten all of the season ticket money you daft cunts. Why would a boycott work? A picket outside his warehouse so no trucks could get in or out would get his attention. It would have to be a prolonged and coordinated event. For a few days. Plenty of replacements so people can get some sleep before returning. It would force him to action. If this was Italy he’d be missing long ago.. he’s not intimidated by friendly northerners, that has to change.

Same goes for Josef Yarney, who will replace Mbemba. Amazing that we have become even cheaper, flicking squad players and replacing them with kids who may or may not be good enough... At least if they do well we can sell them at a huge profit which we're bound to benefit from It would be Ashley's wet dream if we had a model like Southampton.

He won’t start ahead of Shelvey, Diame or Ki but if Hayden does leave he’ll be next in line. He’s more than capable to fill in and he’ll learn loads over the next few months being involved with the first team.
  7. It’s beginning to resemble Hitlers last days. His cronies desperate to protect him from knowing what’s going on in the outside world.. ?

As a player he is composed on the ball, can read the game and plays it from the back. Only negative I can think of is that his height, he’s about 3” off being ideal for the PL. Maybe some concentration issues, and it’s been well documented that he never picked up the language so it’s probably harder for Lascelles to bark orders at him.. Honestly don’t think any other player will stop our captain and Lejeune starting every game if available. Clark will get a run out in cups. And Yarney looks like a real prospect. Needs time to adjust but looked the part last week in Dublin.
  9. It was freezing and we were tragically s****. They were a far superior team. Both times we played them. In fairness I think we changed things and got the measure of them in the second half of the last game we played them but credit where it’s due. Think of where that club was 10, 15 years ago.. The first game was as decisive as any loss we had all season.
  10. Richarlison could be a good move. Mental money though. If his form drops that could be half a season on the bench or below, but on potential that kid could be excellent. Terrorised our defenders when we played Watford iirc.. did he get an assist too?
  11. Fully agree. He may very well be close to being skint but playing the poor mouth only serves to pour blood into the shark tank. It screams fire sale. Why would any club offer the going rate when they know the club will take less. Our first two sales, how much did Merino leave for?! And then Mbemba? Both players who could have gone on to decent things, however I believe Rafa has the ultimate say on players leaving and coming in (in that the club won’t sell a player without his permission or buy players he doesn’t want. So you have to trust his judgement on this. Mbemba in particular.. sell him for about half of what we paid for him? Makes no sense given his age. Plenty of time to learn and improve.
  12. I somehow doubt this is even on the radar within the walls of St James’ Park. I imagine those meetings to be nothing more than a nuisance when they come around so whoever takes part rustles up a few stooges to come along and tow the company line. The timing is so poor with these forums that there’s really no point, the damage has always been done and they have a little excuse at hand as to why the purposeful incompetence keeps happening, or to plant the seeds for the next double cross.

Undisclosed fee, paid in installments. Like Mitro's is going to be later in the week. 5.5m in instalments? This deal stinks. He’s far better than anything we could bring in for that money. It’s a terrible move for the club, although I still can’t get my head around his age, 23?! “Is he havin a laugh?”

We have a sprinkler system? Wow, modern. Fair enough. First drill is to drag those hoses out to midfield. After the holes in the hoses have been gaffer taped. Our setup makes Rocky's montage in Rocky IV look like Drago's montage. luxury, more like rocky 2 where he's chasing the chicken As if we'd buy the feed. chicken wire isn't f***ing free either tbf “All ma money is tied up in chicken wire” Mike Ashley summer 2018.
  15. In two minds about a boycott, it would hurt Rafa just as much I think. What happened before was after years of terrible football on the pitch and excuse after excuse by that snake oil merchant managing the team. We can hardly say that’s the case now, our team give it all on the pitch and they deserve our support. A boycott wouldn’t hurt Ashley financially as we’ve sold all of our season tickets. They’ll just report the tickets sold figures. Like someone mentioned here before.. a protest holding everything up outside his warehouse would make national news and effectively interrupt profits for a time. Occupy SD? That would get his attention. The real question is, which of you daft fuckers would actually go all the way and carry something like that out?
  16. So the latest spin from the war room is that Mike is “withholding all transfer funds because if Rafa is leaving, he doesn’t want to spend money on players the next manager might not want”. ? Justin Barnes, Lee Charnley and Mike Ashley, oh and will throw Wendy Taylor in there too, you complete set of gee bags. Just fuck off. Even the biggest imbeciles in our fan base have copped on to this bullshit long ago. Nobody is listening any more, no one believes..
  17. That’s the chant that needs to be heard. “You fat fucking liar, get out of our club”
  18. "The Club admitted to the Tribunal that it repeatedly and intentionally misled the press, public and the fans of Newcastle United.“
  19. A bit route one but a really militant and persistent social media campaign against SD is a good place to start. Any hackers out there? probably another thing that can be sorted on the dark web tbf What would 10k get in a full on ddos job? 1 day?
  20. Exchange rate was very different then. Working out the average rate for 2005, 25m euros would have gotten you 17.2575 pounds on average so it’s probably reasonably accurate.

If Hayden leaves then this lad has to be part of the squad. He’s more than ready to cover for Diame.
  22. The only thing that’s changed I guess is that nobody believes their lies any more, even the most oblivious of folk have been fooled and conned many times, it’s just tiresome at this point. What’s been the spend this summer, realistically? Nobody has left yet, apart from Colback. 4m on Dubravka, the loan deal might have cost 2m, then Ki’s agents etc might have pocketed 500k-1m for that deal. You can offset Ki by Colbacks wages being paid for. So let’s call it 6 million. That’s all we’ve spent. How the fuck can the club claim that Rafa can have every penny the club generates. We got paid over 110m in tv money, then probably made a few million in corporate and match day revenue. Maybe the delay in Mitro leaving is down to Rafa. If he’s not given funds, we’ll have Mitro back in the squad maybe? That would be one positive, Rafa wouldn’t play him though.. It’s a total shit show.
  23. Clubs simply spending that amount of cash means nothing if you don’t have a good manager. Look at Everton.. i don’t see wise investment in any deals they’ve done with the Chinese money. There are only a small handful of true world class managers in the PL, Spurs have been very good at times but Pochettino is not one of them.. if Chelsea and Arsenal can get their shit together they’ll be back outside the top 4. Levi is fairly smart and probably realises this, so why risk spending crazy money on players.. they’ll be guaranteed finishing 5th, so budget for a Europa place.. anything more is a bonus. Us on the other hand have a devious snake of an owner who somehow got himself a world class manager. Even with minimal spend an players, we have a coach who can polish turds into a fairly competent bunch. There were a few anomalies last season. A number of teams were very poor. History may not repeat itself but I’m confident Rafa will keep us up. If he does, again.. it’s a complete piss take of everything the PL is all about these days.
