  1. Hopefully he gets a nasty cruciate ligament injury very soon. Horrible little wretch.
  2. Can just imagine the cunt turning up on some obscure US network doing punditry on all our games.
  3. He's a beast in the air. Matt Ritchie will become highly relevant in the team once more if we sign this lad.
  4. Has a thigh strain according to physioroom. No return date set.

    Transfer rumours

As always we have no expectations at all and they still find a way to disappoint us. Like asking for an orange for Christmas and you get burgled instead. couldn't resist. “Sort of got carried away” ?
  6. I’d love it if he did that. Just walked out for a press conference and read out a catalog of Mike Ashley lies and false promises. Imagine Wendy Taylor trying to PR manage that situation.
  7. I concur. We’ve been here before. Said it a thousand times. That even a small number of people actually believe the club are trying to sign someone is the biggest mystery. They’ve shown their form time and time again. Ashley isn’t scared of being relegated because he’s pretty much gotten away with it easy twice. Rafa will go. Someone will take over and the cycle will just keep happening. And for every person who has had enough of it and turns their back, there will be a replacement in the wings. He has us sussed.
  8. A short term fix but would do the trick. He's a beast in the air.
  9. Looks like he could handle himself and that he actually wants to score goals. Watched his clips and he’s poached what would have been teammates goals (ball going in but gets the last touch anyway) , good feet etc. Joselu on the other hand is like this docile drugged up mental patient who gets sent out in a jersey every week for his exercise time.
  10. It would be like seeing an ex who you once had on a pedestal but then realised the years had not been kind to them. I think we had HBA near to his best in patches. I have good memories, i'd prefer to leave it that way. A little like the last time Keegan took over, i wish he hadn't.
  11. He's on 80k a week.. there's any number of decent players heading towards the end of contracts who would jump at the chance for that wage.
  12. Apart from our season in the Championship, Shelvey has never been in an NUFC side that's been on the front foot and dictating play. I'm probably his biggest critic as he offers no protection to the team, which is frustrating because he's a big lad, he could easily impose himself in the middle if he had the mindset. But to give stats about his assists or goals in "this" team is stupid. If we were bossing a midfield and giving him the ball in places where he could hurt teams we'd be seeing a different player. He does all of his idiotic stuff when we're defending, which is between 55-80% of matches these days.
  13. It seems very unlikely. The kid up at Celtic would be my bet. Kenedy, a striker and a goalkeeper. Enough to keep us up?
  14. Gameiro is the forward we’re in for allegedly. Seems like about 10 years ago we were linked with him first.
  15. Ashley gambled over the summer that Rafa would turn water into wine. And to a degree he has. That we’ve even gotten the amount of points we have with Joselu, Manquillo and Shelvey playing the majority of our games is quite staggering. But Rafa will not be enough to save this lot, we know it, Rafa knows it and Ashley does too. There’s no way he’ll want us relegated so he’ll have to stump up the cash to protect the revenue next season could promise. We'll end up breaking our transfer record on a bang average forward. (Because he has no choice but to..)
  16. I think his natural position will end up as being up front. Has pace to burn and can obviously finish given a chance. Playing on the shoulder of the last defender with decent service..
  17. Lascelles is our best player by a country mile. How long can we hang on to him?
  18. Can’t fault the effort. Just a few blunt tools in the shed which cripple us. Maybe we’ll be ok with one or two half decent signings.
  19. Took a break from it today. From what I’ve read in the news and the last few posts on here, PCP came out saying that they really were serious and could have put loads of money into the club etc.. All seems very small time to me. In the greater scheme of things. All this back and forth bull plop just keeps our attention away from the absolute appalling lack of a transfer window we’re having, mainly down to her inadequate offer and subsequent time wasting. It’s shocking to think a club like Brighton can outspend us. What recent deals have PCP been involved in btw?
  20. I think he needs the money this time. Lots of factors. Brexit, some poor investments. It’s a good time to have cash. Staveley knows this which is why she low balled him. It’s backfired. Probably how the curry house concluded was “I’m off for my holidays, up your bid to something acceptable and we’ll talk then” No increased bid was made. He throws a strop. This is more of an indication that he’s really desperate to sell (but highly resents losing money on this) Staveley doesn’t have to do anything except wait and see just how desperate he gets. It’s destroying all goodwill we had towards her because she’s just treating the club as any old asset that can be bought and sold. I’m not sure she has the clubs best interests as a priority.
