He’s so good at anticipating where the ball may drop or how the attacking pattern of play may develop. Even more impressive is how he never shows complacency, even when an attack may be fizzling out, he’s there anyway.

His best moments are when he traps the ball and feeds an overlapping runner to beat the press, in practically the same, fluid movement. It’s something as a team we need to engineer better patterns of play to anticipate. The CB on the ball perhaps needs to look for him straight away. I’m looking forward to seeing his interplay with Wissa, whenever that time comes.

A good win, another great European night for the club, but without being too negative, a better team would have took advantage of our carelessness in possession last night. Overall, we were the better side, particularly second half, and well worth the win.
