Surely you keep Duran as your main striker. I know Villa want Felix, but canât see them selling both.
-
Donât think you can turn down ÂŁ60m for Watkins.
-
Donât intend to be reductive, but thereâs some instances in this Burnley match where itâs honestly Sunday league standard.

All the best to him, decent fee truth be told as well. -
Spursâ squad-building has been absolutely dire.

Original twitter post seems to have been deleted, hopefully this one is better.

Their business will likely make me look foolish in hindsight, but Cityâs focus on young defenders seems a bit odd. If I was a City fan, Iâd be concerned about not addressing the clear lack of cover in the middle of midfield.

West Ham striker must be one of the most cursed positions in football.
-
Even if the deal doesnât work out, seems a good price for Villa to take a punt on. You will surely be able to recoup most of that.

I did feel a bit for Zirkzee. Yes he was woeful, but werenât they all? The real fault was with the manager drastically underestimating our prowess in midfield with his setup. Amorim got it hopelessly wrong.

First time in my lifetime where Iâve felt like weâre collectively and individually far superior to them. No doubt we rode our luck at times tonight, but overall we were just so much better. What a sweet feeling.

His distribution is such a boon for us lately, weâre keeping the ball and building out from the back much better.

What a strike

That Bergvall looks horrendous

Spurs have so many average players, not much genuine quality in that team.

Positive start, press has been excellent. -
We look a very limited team, whether thatâs predominantly down to our recruitment strategy or coaching / tactics is up for debate.
-
Huge gaping hole in the midfield every time.
-
Poor by the midfield but the keeper just has to save that regardless.

Everything around the club feels rather stale at the moment. I feel for Howe because the bigger issue in my eyes is the overall strategic direction of the club, on and off the pitch, we seem to have hit a glass ceiling for progress.
-
Really daft decision from both our captains and management team to let him take it, given the context of this game for Gordon.
-
Feel like Douglas has put out this same kind of fluff piece a few times now.

They need to be better at communicating. Forget the name of the club official but it was ill-advised in hindsight to brief the journalists that a decision is âtruly imminentâ and then say nothing else for another couple months.
