Delap is such a donkey

Lovely cross by Neto that.

If it’s a good fee for Livramento, then I think it makes sense for all parties. We’re not a good enough team collectively, to compensate for his time out with injuries.

Zero chance Chelsea’s team of wet-wipes turn up at SoL. They will get bullied off the pitch.

People on here will still pretend to not care if they qualify and do well.

Pretty much every single result went their way.

Sunderland will be one of the favourites to win the conference league if it happens. Pure copium to just brush that off, a very painful season.
-
Insane how every result seems to go their way at critical times like. Never known anything like it.

Needs to be minimum of 70m imo due to Everton’s % of profit clause.

I agree that generally this season there has been a real sense of fragility in defence. However, it's not just down to our defenders, as a collective team, we don't do enough to see out games. Our midfield stops showing for the ball and doesn't recycle possession effectively. Our forwards can't hold the ball up to relieve pressure and keep the ball high up the pitch. Even when we were (imo) the better team on the day against Forest, we were under unceasing pressure for the last 10 mins because of all those aforementioned issues. Time-after-time our defenders had the ball and were looking up the line or anywhere to a teammate and nobody gave them an outlet. It's not an excuse for some of the weak defending and errors we've seen this season, but the mental and physical fatigue from constant last-ditch defending would take a toll.

Notts Forest 1-1 Newcastle United - 10/05/26

Did a lot of hard graft and defensive work as usual. Felt like technically we couldn’t make the most of those transitional moments on the counter. He wasn’t the only culprit, but an overall lack of sharpness at moments when they mattered. -

Just a real slog of a game, most players played like they were wearing jeans. Not too sure Pope was much at fault for the goal like, was a fast strike of the ball. Bruno should have went off earlier imo, he was struggling to get around the pitch. Joelinton’s poor first-touch killed a lot of promising attacks for us. The midfield was a real struggle throughout. Not many positives to take for me. -
I agree that the framing of that Q is really poor and unnecessarily personal. Gordon (imo) is our best wide player, but I wouldn't be overly bothered if he didn't start the last few fixtures. I understand the press-pack want to get answers on certain topics, but it risks fuelling more discontent for little reason.

Delap is fucking shite.

Harry Kane hat-trick against this lot in the final please.

£60m doesn't move the needle much for us, especially with Everton having a % of any profit.

Watched the full Chelsea - Forest game yesterday and my goodness Chelsea are just a risible team. So little quality throughout that first XI for the money spent. Lavia is absolute garbage, I recognise he's had persistent injury problems but he looks so far off the level required. Fundamentally I don't think Enzo and Caicedo are a good partnership either, Chelsea should really look to get rid of the former imo. Delap is perhaps the worst striker in the entire league, a useless big lump who doesn't even have the off-the-ball intelligence to anticipate when to receive the ball and get others involved.
