Same with Undav, gets so much stick and seems to score every week.

If Maddison goes to Spurs, then I’d be asking about Kulusevski.

Absolutely crazy stuff if he’s photoshopped it. I know they hate us, but the guy is going to be in serious bother.

Manquillo is out right? Is Ashby available, if Trippier wasn’t going to play?

Yeah, this is something I think we actually need for European football next season. Experienced pros who know what it takes to win at that level, and are also okay with being rotation options. Easier said than done, to identify those players though.

Forgot that Pulisic existed

Looking like Ugarte is off to PSG according to Romano.

I don’t necessarily have an issue with McTominay signing. I can see how his qualities would translate well to Howe’s coaching and tactical set-up. But my position has always been that the club can’t (seriously) then brief the press about FFP struggles if we’re deliberately targeting players in the most inflated market bracket possible (following on from Gordon).

Would be good business by Man United that.

£6.5m to £25m is an enormous uplift and illustrative both of the rapid growth of the club under this ownership, and the lapsed interest that engulfed all commercial deals under the former.

Caveated mine by intentionally not picking any NUFC player / staff. Player of the season: Odegaard Young player of the season: Haaland Manager of the season: Pep Guardiola Underrated players of the season: Nathan Ake, Keylor Navas, Rico Henry, Willian, Lisandro Martínez Overrated players of the season: Van Dijk, Matheus Nunes, Harvey Elliott (might be a bit harsh)

Find it incredible Chelsea could seriously be in for Osimhen. They’ve already committed to sign Nkunku for £60m. No Champions League football and I don’t think they’ll raise anywhere near the funds they’re expecting from sales either.

What is it with this myth propagated by some media figures and publications that Newcastle was some kind of ‘second team’ to other domestic club fans and the club was generally held in high-regard? My lived experience is that due to the inherent tribalism that exists British sporting culture, everyone seemed to laugh at us when we were crap, particularly the relegations. Nobody really liked us. Liked the city of Newcastle perhaps, it’s a great away-day for fans and the people are welcoming. But as an actual club and sporting qualification, just don’t believe there was any kind of outward affection from other parties. The ‘high’ expectations and perceived arrogance of Newcastle fans were mockingly discussed, rather than supported. It seems like a strange remark associated with overarching criticism of the club’s ownership. Like we hate Saudi ownership especially because we really liked you lot before? Maybe I’ve got it wrong though.

Amazing player, but think he stays at Brighton for another year, especially with Europa qualification likely sorted. Arsenal seem to be set on Rice which could leave an opportunity open I suppose.

Juventus in general are struggling under Allegri, but admittedly doesn’t seem to have been in the same form pre-injury. Been back since start of April, 2 assists and 1 goal in last 8 matches. Not played a full 90 in that period. Still, I really love his game and technical qualities. I think a player like him would be a now or never type of move for us and others, don’t expect Juventus to have as bad a season as they’ve had like this one for ages. So, if you did want the likes of Vlahovic, Chiesa etc. now would be the window to make a move.
-
Not sure if he’d want to leave, but with Juventus’ recent points deduction potentially leaving them out of European qualification, I would enquire about Chiesa. Immensely talented player.

Looking forward to a summer of embedded SUPERTOON posts.

Get him straight on the surgeon’s table this weekend, fix up that ankle.

His interview after the game is just tremendous. Just totally understands the bond between Newcastle and his team, as well as the qualities the fanbase love to see in our players.

This is so absolutely massive for the club and city. It’s absolute lift-off. -
Absolutely astonishing achievement. We’re back in the European elite once again. Newcastle proudly represented on the European stage. Fans, club, players and our city hosting unforgettable nights and making unforgettable memories, once again.
