We’re winning, don’t get why we’re trying to force opportunities. Exploit the gaps when they come to pressure. -

Moyes is just going to be telling Bowen to run at Burn all second half, he’s so uncomfortable out there. -

Outplayed that half but took a Pope howler to actually get them back into it. Really need our centre midfield to exert more control second half. -

Absolutely awful start. -
Probably an incredibly unpopular opinion but think Lampard overall did okay at Chelsea. Obviously Tuchel’s impact illustrated the gulf in managerial quality. But Lampard did get top 4 and a cup final in his first season. In a way, he was totally fucked over by Chelsea signing big-money talents - Werner and Havertz, that were just clearly not his picks at all. Chelsea were right to get rid though.
-
Johnson would make sense if they go down. You’d imagine it’s either him or Joao Pedro. I suspect we could also negotiate a lower fee by including players like Lascelles and Lewis.
-
Nagelsmann would be a terrible appointment and a bit similar to Potter. He wasn’t able to connect with or establish authority over the dressing room at Bayern and it would be the same story at somewhere like Chelsea. He’s just not ready for these types of clubs yet. Best possible appointment would be someone like Ancelotti coming back.
-
Fairly concerned about Villa now.
-
Tottenham are only in the position they are now because they have a truly world-class striker. Bentancur’s injury was unfortunate, but Son’s decline has been extraordinary. The rest of their squad just really isn’t particularly strong or well-structured.
-
Chelsea have (or had) a firmly-established club culture that prioritises immediate success above all else. They don’t need a project for a manager. They don’t have the patience or enthusiasm for a long-term strategy.
-
Love that response by Botman, the club has sorely needed that type of self-assured confidence. Arrogance even.

Incredible result, season-defining perhaps. -
Forest would be majorly impacted, but they also have some high-value assets to sell if they need to - Johnson and Gibbs-White would both fetch premium fees.
-
If the club’s strategy is to target British players with Premier League experience, then fair enough, but don’t continue to brief the press about FFP concerns when you’re actively buying in the most inflated bracket possible.
-
Tuchel could probably get the Bayern job in the summer if they don’t win the Champions League, seems like Nagelsmann has struggled to impose himself there.
-
Yeah think we’ll try again for Joao Pedro in the summer, feels like we’re still very interested. He qualifies as home-grown as well, which is a boon.
-
I don’t really see it as a safe appointment at all, he was horrific at Watford.
