Agree with some of the comments here on Howe. There will be higher expectations going forward and hammerings like we endured at the weekend won’t be tolerated for much longer I don’t think. He will rightly be given time, but likewise if people are expecting the board to have unlimited patience will be in for a shock.

I also hope we have outgoings lined up as well. Unless the players have communicated to their agents that they’re prepared to sit on their remaining contracts no matter what, their representatives should have been negotiating with interested clubs for months now. The likes of Clark, Ritchie, Hayden and Gayle would all do great jobs for any Championship team.

Would be an excellent window, considering it’s a World Cup year, you’d expect many players will be eager to get playing time.

Etikike would be too much of a gamble for the outlay. I would rather we pursued Lewis-Potter from Hull instead for a similar fee. I think he will be the next Championship talent, alongside Brennan Johnson to really establish himself at the top-level.

I think Leeds get to 39 points but I can’t see Burnley getting more than 37.

I can’t imagine our ownership will tolerate hammerings like yesterday in the future, especially after further investment. So he needs to be ruthless with the squad.

Wish Saint-Maximin was even half as good as some of our fans think he is. This isn't a 'patch' of form, he's been poor all season.

We'll never know how it could've gone if we went for another option, but that £25m spend on such a limited player is shocking. I don't want to see him play another minute to be honest, there's nothing there to work with.

Regardless of who we're playing, that scoreline is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the players.

You could likely use any of our U23 center midfielders instead of him and you wouldn't know any difference in quality.

Would get Wilson for some minutes ahead of starting against Arsenal.
