  1. Fantastic weekend of association football. Fingers crossed for a similarly great Monday with the Ev taking points off Chelsea.
  2. Absolutely class finish. Get in
  3. Very true. You can see why Sky were desperate to keep hold of Carragher after the spitting incident, like. Outside of when he's covering Liverpool games he's clear in the punditry world.
  4. As a pundit he's naff now. His knowledge of clubs outside the usual big 6 is shocking for an apparently flagship pundit.
  5. Gabriel. Cannot stand that utter prick. One of the most odious fuckers in the league
  6. @LFEE said the exact same thing post match. I agree. Sort of. I just can't stop cursing that result. If we'd won that we'd have been 8 points behind Spurs with 3 kind fixtures coming up, especially compared to their next 3. They also have to play Man City again. Would've been a big ask going for 9 points from the next 9 and garnering 5 consecutive wins with our injury problems but it would've been a distinct possibility.
  7. Arteta is a cunt, many of their players are heinous and many of their fans are odious, holier-than-thou creeps. Man City winning it 4 times in a row is shit as well. Just I find them the least offensive out of the 3 going for the league.
  8. So in all competitions we have beaten topspur in the PL era 7-1 6-1 twice 5-1 4-0 twice 4-1 3-1 four times And we've beaten them away from home the most times out of all PL teams. Hilarious football club.
  9. Back to back home defeats without scoring. Chortle. In Arsenal's hands now though, ugh.
  10. From .com; "With two fixtures remaining at SJP, 11 home wins matches last season's tally from the full season. 69 goals exceeds our 2022/23 total by one and is our highest PL total since hitting 74 back in 2001/02. 43 home goals in the PL is our best top-flight return since the 1996/97 season saw 54 netted." Some feat that given the context of the season. If we can get Europa League that transcends last season's achievement for me. Some going.
  11. Should've had a hatty yesterday; needs to trust his left foot more.
  12. "Each of Tottenham's last 3 PL defeats by 4+ goals have come against Newcastle United at St. James' Park (5-1 in May 2016, 6-1 in April 2023 and 4-0 in April 2024). They've lost by 4+ goals against Newcastle United than they have against any other team in PL history and Newcastle have scored more goals against Spurs than they have against any other PL club."
  13. I'm going to be cursing that Everton result until the end of time. With the respective fixtures we have, we'd have had a canny prospect of catching Tottenham.
  14. Mateta is an absolute donkey.
  15. Some clearance that. Liverpool all over the place atm.
  16. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/11236575/crystal-palace-1-1-newcastle-luka-milivojevic-penalty-cancels-out-mohamed-diame-goal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPcEz_oCORw
  17. God. Genius. Svensk kung. Anyone who has ever questioned him at any point of his Newcastle career is a nonce.
  18. Best win of the season that. Tactically spot on from Howe and marvellous performances all across the pitch. Always love absolutely stuffing those rats at SJP. Again. 🎶 tearing Tottenham apart, again 🎶
  19. Great stuff. The replies are lifting.
  20. I agree. People like Greg (unsure if he's still at the Trust), Thomas from WF and the FSA I feel are great representatives for the fans. Many are whoppers, as seen by those justifying and arguing for price increases. Matchday revenue constituted as 11% of the club's accounts for 22/23. The club can improve the revenue streams without continually increasing ticket prices for fans season on season. I meant this in regard to ticketing, not the stadium. Ticketing policy they changed this season without any word: it was within 3 weeks of the first league game of the season that memberships were belatedly put on sale for an increased price for less value. E-tickets introduced with no word. ID checks at away games that they brought in with next to no consultation from fans and have since been lambasted at away ticket workshops by fans yet remain. Price increases for tickets and STs with zero word to the Trust or the FAB that the club themselves set up. Speak to the Trust beforehand to gauge fan opinion before pushing through changes maybe? Eales' response was a load of words without saying much at all.
  21. Think its clear they're just lip service tbh. 2 and a half years in and I'm yet to see evidence of fan engagement being of paramount importance, which is what they claimed when they took over.
  22. Some of the replies to that are fucking depressing.
