Soyuncu, Tarkowski, Ndidi. 33/1. Prices look best on PP or WH tonight. Personally using 365.

Yep. The abuse line is a myth. Personal attacks and abuse on social media are present at EVERY SINGLE PL club's fanbase. Unfortunately it's part of the job. If you can't hack that then you shouldn't be a PL manager. Bruce harped on about abuse and death threats in a press conference once and it's blown up to now. Bruce isn't on social media anyway so unless his son is cherry picking tweets and/or messages to tell his dad or is outright lying to his dad about said 'abuse' then there's no way he first-hand would've seen anything. In the ground, funnily enough 2 years ago today (29th Feb actually) was the last game at SJP with fans in before COVID struck. In his first season 2019-20 which had fans in, he never got any kind of abuse at all. No fans were in the ground last season. This season SJP turned on Bruce at Southampton (h) because the performance was embarrassing and shit but it was never outward screaming abuse at him, it was boos at HT, FT and when the ball went near him. From there on in it was merely chants of 'we want Brucie out'. Hardly vitriolic. Such a fucking myth that I'm sick of it. -
100%. Wonder what the difference is between how much money me and me dad sink into the Westgate Road and Pink Lane pubs after wins compared to other results. Must be astronomical.

Unbelievable how he keeps getting jobs tbh. His ilk, Allardyce (who is a far better manager), Pulis, Pardew, Hughes et al are finished. Anyone who appoints them reaps what they sow. -

Just switched this game on. Fuck me, its absolutely dreadful. Half full stadium, no atmosphere, two teams likely to neither go down or go up. Absolutely dreadful nothingness. Suits Bruce to a tee. -
Lad who scored the winner has been sent off for a 2nd yellow, assume it was for the celebration. 3-1 to 3-4 away from home v 2nd placed Norwich, impressive. September 2016 all over again.

The time between 8th March 2020 and the summer just gone feels just like a week tbh.

5 years ago, man. Fucking hell. COVID/Lockdown has really skewed my perception of time.

Back up from uni for this. We'll stuff these.

Cabaye's assist to Cisse in that game still mesmerises me. But aye. Huddersfield (h) in 2018-19 is another home win I remember being really confident of. Think we'll finally do this lot. 2 or 3-0.

Disagree with some of that like. Brentford (h) tbf was organised chaos, absolutely mental game of football but Howe wasn't able to actually be there. 2, arguably all 3 of Brentford's goals were Darlow's fault. Darlow has since not featured. Also in that game was the start of Joelinton's unbelievable turnaround, he was unreal that day. Even with 10 men against Norwich we deserved to win, certainly would've done so 11 v 11. And regarding Clark, aye, shouldn't be anywhere near the ground anymore. But new managers tend to find out about their teams through in game situations, for example Benitez picked Steven Taylor for his first 4 games before getting rid after he cost us goals against Southampton (a). Watford was poor though, especially the 2nd half.

Arsenal we have a shit record at yet we should've had a pen at 0-0 in the first half. Poor second half but not a fixture you could count as winnable. Leicester was very poor, given the season they're having by their standards, their defensive record et al. Probably a fixture you'd fancy us in now. But they are still the team that have finished 5th the last 2 seasons running and at 0-0 they got a nonsensical penalty when 0-0 would've been a fair reflection of that game at half time. But the second half was poor. Man City and Liverpool are more or less write offs, they certainly were when we played them. Yet more absolutely wank refereeing cost us and the scorelines in those games are unfair reflections imo.

Our games since he come in with the upcoming games.
-
They've won 3 of their last 9 league games and Howe has won 3 of his 5 trips there.

Chelsea should be 2 up here.

It's a huge shame he's gone from the PL. I think Leeds fans should be very unhappy with their board tbh, they signed no one in January to bolster their squad in spite of the injuries that they've had this year. Bamford and especially Phillips have been enormous losses. No effort made to bring in back up to them. Results and performances in isolation though probably meant he had to go. 20 goals conceded in a month, man. That's shocking. Anyway, not arsed who goes down as long as its a team not called Newcastle United but I'd rather Leeds stayed up. As dislikable as they are or can be, the PL is better with a Leeds United in than a Watford, Brentford or Burnley. That's probably me just wanting to see most of the clubs from 1992-2004 back in the PL, but still.

Mental how that pen wasn't given. If that was us I'd be hoping the officials all keel owa.

Been mentioning all day that if we won today and won against Brighton we'd be on 28 points; given that I now expect us to win next week (which is mental given where we were before we played Leeds) I think today was huge in factoring in how comfortable survival is going to be. I think we'll finish much, much closer to 10th than 18th. Leeds or Brentford to drop for me. Everton are playing well against Man City atm and even though they could easily still get beat, they'll get enough points at Goodison to stay up. Burnley have turned a corner.
