In an ideal world people would stop going until he sold but it just won't happen, clamouring for it whilst having the same attitude towards any changes NUST or any other group suggest to those who actually go to matches which is "well it won't do anything, Ashley won't sell as a result of this pledge/protest/boycott will he so I'll not bother". This is from someone who doesn't think that this pledge will do much either btw. Just more of a rant to those who've immediately shot another idea down in flames before it gets off its arse.

Not saying people shouldn't be allowed to give constructive criticism of the idea but for years when planned protests or boycotts or whatever the hell in or out SJP have been suggested there's always a group that wants it shot down in flames because its either 'embarrassing' or it 'won't do anything' or 'the mackems will rip the piss' (who actually gives a fuck about what they think btw?). Its showing on this place regarding this and has in the past too. Constant derision of those who try to do something for the better of the club and supporters despite there being no showing of how what they themselves are doing has had any kind of positive impact on change at the club whatsoever. Its beyond boring.

I'm in support of this. As a student I can't exactly afford to donate but I hope to in future. The negativity is staggering, this fan base for ages has always been 'embarrassing, won't do or achieve anything so I'll not bother' and heckle those that do and its part of the reason why we're so fucked. That's people at both sides of the boycott spectrum btw, constantly shout down those that suggest something that may or may not have some effect either now or in future. Don't get the constant screams for a boycott at this current moment in time like, nee fucker has been in the ground for a over a year and the place won't be full for another while yet. I don't have faith that this pledge will do much but good luck to those who get and are currently involved and I hope it does. Germany's 50+1 system should be implemented in this country but that's a different topic altogether.

Assuming this is a dig, personally not been to games since Benitez left due to anger at him leaving and also logistics due to moving to uni, took part in all of the SP, AO and MG protests prior to chucking it. Wilson should be back, ASM and Almiron with some minutes in the tank, best chance of a win until Sheff Utd at home imo. Beat them relatively comfortably at SJP, need to do the same again. Let's see if the players can put two respectable performances together back to back. Doubt it, like.

He did well by his standards yesterday and I'd probably give him a chance if there was a change of manager/takeover but he just doesn't look like any sort of footballer. His touches are dreadful and he seems so slow.

Dunno like. Still got Wilson to come back in and ASM to start a game. One of the very few relatively good performances came v them in the home game and they're not keeping many clean sheets.

If Fulham can't beat this Wolves side and we win on Sunday, I think we'll stay up. Can't see them making up a 6 point gap with 6 games left, especially if we keep the level of performance from yesterday. Which we won't. Have 0 faith that Bruce can ever oversee a run of decent performances.
