How can selling on for face value be a criminal offence? If it's away tickets, can they be looking at people buying tickets solely for the purpose of getting a loyalty point, then trying to sell on? Otherwise how can they argue it's illegal?

Play Merino and Hayden away, and Merino and Shelvey at home.
-
It's still fucking over away fans, there'd be almost none if any public transport on after a 7:45pm Saturday game. They should just televise 3pms like they do everywhere else in the world, all of the cameras, commentators et al are there.

If you're basing most of the matchgoing fanbase off of Lee f***ing Lawler then you're an absolute mong. The f***ers are still paying Ashley their £ so almost by definition they are thick Odd how you've popped up in the football board as soon as things go seemingly tits up with Rafa/transfers et al, almost as if you're desperate to show yourself as correct. And after seeing you call fellow posters 'butthurt', it's quite pathetic.

Nee relegation fight experience marra, much rather have Big Sam.

Which three do you reckon will do worse? Can see Palace, Brighton, Burnley, maybe Swansea and maybe Bournemouth being the potential teams we can finish above. Would like to be able to be sure that Huddersfield will crash and burn and maybe Stoke doing poorly.

Seen him on twitter on deadline day spouting his told you so bollocks If only FS was still in charge ay? What's his Twitter name? Leazes_Mag People on Toontastic have posted about how much of a weird t*** he was on there too. Going by his bio, that looks like it's true.

He'll see out the season at the very least imo. The January window, I'm not sure what to expect. Hopefully we're not in a position where we're fretting about whether he'll be in the dugout for Burnley (h), which is on January 31st.

Interesting read. Thanks for sharing, Dave.

Found this video a while back. Unsure if it's been shared on here yet but here.

Stopped reading at "Rafa Benitez wants to run Newcastle United, which is admirable but maybe he should concentrate on giving the club some success first – something which he is yet to do." Unbelievable contradiction. Reading the rest will make me livid.

We would be, but the trust between Rafa and Ashley has completely disintegrated. Rightly so.

State of the fat cunt.

True, but you've got to say Merino is looking really good in the games he's played. Lejeune did well vs one of the best strikers if not the best striker in the league, but it was only for 40 minutes. Lejeune I can't judge. Merino is looking good, though.

Won't play apart from maybe the FA Cup 3rd round. Hopefully.

So according to that, most sides decided to go big when the TV mega money changed things. We seriously cocked up getting McClaren in and allowing him the cash to waste and relegate us. Could be our worst move in the history of any appointments. Im including Pardew Souness and fat Sam in that. Actually worse than JFK and Carver. Charnley went for him thrice, twice turning us down, and whilst his Derby side completely imploded at a lower level, Charnley still went for him. What a farce.

You hardly see a kid in a Toon Top these days. A lost generation. It's sad, I used to be so proud wearing my top but that stopped years ago. I have bought tops for my kids and love seeing them in it but what is the point, it's not worth it supporting this club I buy retro shirts from places not associated with the club now. Was thinking about getting one of the new shirts but after yesterday, nah.

He'd have gone if yesterday truly was the final straw, I guess. Glad the shitshow is over for a couple of months anyway, hopefully we can knuckle down and start winning a few matches. A good points return from the next 3 and the mood will be looking up again. This (Rafa being here) will always be a house of cards under Ashley, I've always thought he'd see the season out but after yesterday I'm worried if he'll still be here for the Burnley home game (on the deadline of January window). I remember a great post by someone in the McClaren thread after Leicester beat us 0-3 at home, can't remember who it was but his point still stands: the Ashley regime has 2 more chapters, appoint a figurehead or sell up. He either wants a successful club () or he doesn't. I believe Rafa is his chance. If he's forced out the whole thing will turn toxic until Ashley sells up. Hopefully Rafa is still here before the Chelsea home game on the last day, and we have a new owner at that point. We can only but hope.

The fight to get our club back.

These utter f***ing idiots, man. As if Rafa is going to read these and realise "ah, maybe I could go to West Ham, cheers Luke." Unfortunately a huge number of our fans are monunmentally thick. The patter you hear at the match, after on the metro/bus, in town, social media or wherever is just so f***ing bad and ill informed It's not so bad for me at the match, fortunately there's a lack of mongs and has been since last season, but I know you get them around the ground. In town isn't bad either, for where me and my dad go before the games anyway. Social media is awful. Do my best to avoid it after a poor result. Pure .

I don't think it will be, barring an injury crisis. Admittedly, it won't be anywhere near as good as it could have been. But, Saturday showed that there's some s**** in this league that we won't have too much trouble turning over. West Ham are garbage, agreed. But pretty much everyone around us improved. Swansea lost their two best players from last season, Palace re-signed last years loan for 26 mill and have done little else, Burnley lost Keane and Gray. Bournmouth have started badly and have an absolutely horrible start to the season which could really f*** with their morale if they don't pick up points. True Swansea and Burnley have signed replacements but I would say both are weaker than last season. We have a decent team. Not as good as it should be, but while Rafa is here we need to support the team and remind Rafa why he decided to stay. If he leaves then its time to kick off, while he is here I still think we'll be alright. Also the attitude of the players is better than two seasons ago. I don't think there's anybody (Crumpy apart) who doesn't agree that we'll support the team while Rafa's here. The reason for the gloomy atmosphere is that it seems that might not be for much longer thanks to the lack of support he's received from the owner. Yup.
