  1. The fixtures for the weekend. Chelsea v Newcastle Brighton v Liverpool Everton v Huddersfield Leicester v Burnley Stoke v Swansea Watford v Spurs West Brom v Crystal Palace Arsenal v Man Utd Bournemouth v Southampton Man City v West Ham A lot of teams in and around us playing each other. Could really have done with 3 points yesterday instead of 1 but not the end of the world. Just hope there's no relegation bedwetting on Saturday.
  2. Bournemouth pull one back v Burnley.
  3. Their next few games after today. Huddersfield (h) Liverpool (a) Newcastle (a) Swansea (h) Chelsea (h)
  4. Aye but it won't happen. We're current 12th as it stands, ahead of Huddersfield and Everton on goal difference. 5 points above the bottom 3.
  5. Link? Quotes? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42035411 Scroll down for his interview. "Congratulations to our players, our fans, they support the team. But congratulations as well for the fans of Newcastle. Fantastic, what I saw. At 0-2, 0-3, they support always the team, very very good. I think they are a good example for everyone."
  6. Didn't watch any of the post match patter from Saturday, but just seen Silva's interview; he completely lauds our fans. Like him even more.
  7. Both sides were 'very unhappy' with the leak according to Simon Bird's article. The Mirror have been s**** for news on us lately but Simon Bird is credible enough. Isn't he the one referred to as a "c***" by JFK? Aye. "Which one of you is Simon Bird?" "Me." "You're a cunt. There I've said it to your face." "Thank you."

  10. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm not sure how that shows the quality of the league is low. Everyone taking points off each other suggests a competitive league. Whether they're all s**** or all good is another matter, really. We can compete in that group of teams, last night showed that as did our run prior to the Bournemouth defeat. We need everyone fit though, a few injuries to key players like we've had in this winless run and we're screwed.
  11. 8 would be ideal. 4 from the Leicester/Everton double header (6 would be fantastic), a point at West Ham and 3 from Brighton.
  12. Carver will be assistant.
  13. McClean looked as comfortable at LB as Aarons did away at Chelsea under McClaren.
  14. Will take a spirited performance where we don't embarrass ourselves like we did last time we were at Stamford Bridge.
  15. You what? Steve Wraith said he felt sick and nauseous, takeover's off.
  16. Probably the best thing thinking long term, right? Psychologically we don't want to be going into our toughest month of the season just 3 points clear of the relegation zone. Being 5 points just gives us an extra bit of leeway. We don't need Everton finding form before our game with them, fat Sam usually takes a little time to work his "magic", his Palace side lost 5-1 to the Mackems in one of his first games, last season but they will get some new manager bounce. A draw would be the best result in that game I think. Lost 0-4 to the mackems at home.
