Agreed. He'll be vital to bring on for the last 15 when we want to secure our lead.

If you could add 3 past-NUFC players to the current team...

I agree but who is your third? -

I think it was his first game under Bruce, you could just se the frustration on his face. I would bet my left testicle he was the first to tell Bruce what he thought of him. Bloke used to be a Swiss banker so he's likely more articulate than the average sausage roll. -

If ASM is being crowded out in the centre it creates space on the wings. He mentioned his awareness of this in his recent interview, so It will be interesting to see what happens with a couple of players exploiting that space. -
What's wrong with that?

Given that Almiron will likely be on the bench I think we'll line up something like this: Wilson ASM Fraser Ritchie Willock Hayden Lewis Fernandes Lascelles Manquillo Dubs Get at them with intent. Hopefully 2 up on the 60-70 minute mark then bring on Shelvey and Almiron to add counter attacking options. Probably swapping Fraser and Ritchie, but depends on fitness levels. -
More than doubled the levels of training, but no injuries. What is this voodoo magic?
-
That's the thing with the useless cunt. He remembers Fergie used to 'rest' the squad, on International breaks, but that was because Bruce was the only one that never went on international duty.

If only somebody had evidence of their wrong doing. Something that might swing a court case.

I'd take eleven average players with the heart of Jonas, any day of the week. Such a same he didn't get to work with Keegan for longer.
-
Beautiful man. Happy retirement Jonas. Don't be a stranger.

Aye. Think that means the bench for Miggy. If we can focus on getting Lewis and Schar drilled on the defensive set-up, and more importantly Dubs, then we might see them. I think Dubs has to start regardless.
-
I had considered he wouldn't be starting any of the internationals, but there's no real reason for it. Let's say he's focussed last weeks training on the system we're going to be deploying at the weekend. He'll obviously continue that this week, with the addition of the returning nationals. If any of them make it look better than last week, I think they'll be in.

Spend an hour in their company and you're sure to change your mind.

I've liked all of our crests. But the current one is classiest. The NUFC football looks shite now, but it looked grand, painted in airfix paint on the flap of your havasack.

I agree, entirely, but he is the one player that I would throw into the mix. Make sure he is well protected at the back and just give him a bit of freedom to attack. I guess it depends on whether he has other uses for Ritchie. Could always play 343 with Lewis and Ritchie on the wings. ASM and Almiron given free-ish roles. Almiron will naturally track back to help on the left, so we could maybe play Willock on that side of CM and put Hayden on the other side as defensive support to Ritchie. Thought I was in the Lewis thread. -
They had them in Seaworld [or whatever it's called these days]at Tynemouth.

Jetro Willems came on as a sub and didn't even know where HE was supposed to be.
-
I don;t think we'll need two games. If there is going to be any improvement it will be instantly recognisable.
-
No miracles required just a game-plan that he can adhere to. There has been zero pattern to our attacking game since he came here. "Get it to Allan" "Where do you want me boss?" "Out of Allan's way"
-
Which is precisely why he should never have been given that role in his first season. If he'd been second fiddle to begin with, he would have been hungrier when Rafa arrived and more likely to respond to his instructions. Nobody can really argue that he didn't earned the right to keep his place, with his performances in that first season, and he was probably justified in getting a bit miffed, at that point.

That your point is bollocks.
